Fatigued dropped on me at the check-out counter this morning. Thankfully the Coke case was right there so I got a cold Coke and it cooled me down. If I drink something cold it helps a little. I always carry cold water with me but I had drank it by the last aisle.

Another thing that I was thankful for was the young man who took my grocery cart and loaded the bags into the trunk of my car. Brookshires is the only grocery store in Paris that still sacks and takes groceries to cars. I like talking with the young men. I learned that Randal braids his own hair and his girl friend taught him how. To stay young in mind and spirit one must engage the young. I find youth who work have stories to tell and like being heard.

Lily June and I wrote to Atticus Shaffer, plays Brick the youngest child on the TV show "The Middle". One of the few decent shows on network Tv. makes you want to move to Indiana! He is a Christian young man and such a great role model and lives with a bone disorder. Look what we got in the mail today! I am going to add this to Lily June's scrapbook!

Hope you feel better soon, Sara!

Connie, I bet Lily June will have several wonderful scrapbooks by the time she is an adult!! They will be treasures for her forever!!

It is a cloudy and chilly Ground Hog day here in north Florida. WE might get some rain and then much cooler temps again tonight and tomorrow. It is a roller coaster here lately on the weather. A few brave blossoms of one of my big old azalea bushes have opened up!! I just hope we don't get a freeze with so many buds getting closer to opening for the season.

I've been working on finishing up UFOs the past few days. Getting some projects done, which is good.

Feel better soon, Sara. BTW I really loved the Widow's Pew. Your stories are so good. You should publish them.

Linda, Widows' Pew is my favorite so far. I got the idea while sitting in church in Van Alstyne before I moved to Paris. Four or five widows set on the same pew every Sunday morning and I thought what if one of them was killing the other ones off. Never know where an idea for a story will come from.

Thanks for thinking my little stories are good enough to publish. You and I will talk again and who knows what will happen.

About ready to wrap up chapter 2 then one edit before sending it to my readers.

Lily June is fortunate to have you. Great picture for her scrapbook.

Hope you are better Sara. Your stories are lots of fun to read. Thank you again for sharing them.

Finally working on my daughter's quilt again. Started it a couple of years ago. At least I'll have one UFO finished. Yay!

It's raining, It's pouring........... We are getting a big soaking rain this afternoon. I am excited about my new plans for my office area. I am going to turn it into a little log cabin like place. I purchased this cool log cabin wallpaper and today I went and got the paint for the two walls and ceiling that will not be papered, On the one long wall, I am going to place a faux fireplace. It has been purchased, made, and now has shipped to arrive on Friday. I can't wait to put this all together!! I have wanted to live in a log cabin almost all of my life. Since that is not really possible for me, I got very excited when I saw several magazines where people used this wallpaper to create the log cabin feel in various parts of their homes. I thought to myself, I could do that! I will take some before and after photos and share. My hubby is going to help with the painting and wallpapering and it will take us a few weeks as we have friends coming here to stay for about 5 days this coming week and weekend. In the meantime, I am going to take everything down and get is stored so when time allows, the paint can be going up. I sure hope it turns out the way I envisioned it to be!!

Winnie your room sounds beautiful. Hope to see pictures when it's done.

The quilt is coming along. My DH doesn't care for the colors. It's bright and very colorful. Kind of nice this time of the year. Will post a picture when it's done.

Winnie - what company is the log wallpaper from? Sounds very interesting - I hadn't seen any picture of it. Ed's house needs LOTS of work. That might work for one wall. Hmmmmmmmm. Can't wait to see your pictures.

Linda, the wallpaper comes from a company called Eades. You can Google it and go to the link. They have all sorts of stuff there and cheaper than I found the same paper on Amazon. Warren started painting today so I will be sure to post when ther is something to show. The painting will happen first so there is no dripping of paint on the wallpaper later. Because we have company coming this week, my guess is that wallpaper will be next week .

Winnie, once you buy into Little Eden being the Small Town Murder Capital of Texas then anything and everything can happen and sooner or later it will. Happy you like my story.
