Marlee, I think you could have two fur babies, one for you and one for your hubby...then you can use both of your cute names!

Oh no, Katie!!! Maybe you need to go to ER. I am so sorry.
My friend who can no longer drive due to no perriferal vision also has to bum rides her hubby was asked to oversee a few paving jobs...something he did before he retired. Now that I cannot drive, until my right leg heals...she is stuck.kinda like you. We do have a rural transit system, but of course it has fees. She may have to use it though.

Katie - Prayers that you are better and heal very soon.
Julie - I didn't know about hanging tomato plants upside down until crop is all gone. Do you water them somehow? Are they in dirt balls of some kind? How do they keep from drying up?

Love hearing about your gardening and farming Julie. I would be interested in knowing how you do the tomatoes also.

Katie, I wish I lived closer to help you out. I am going to have to see how far you are from me. Prayers for all to work out. Induced seizures don't sound good to me.

Katie I sure hope you are having a better day today.
I am in a very long brace, all down my right leg...because I did crack the bone that holds the artifical knee in place, thus the horrid pain. I also have an ankle brace..just like basketball players wear. All pretty complicated for a grandma. Tomorrow I go for some imaging to see how badly I hurt the ligament which is swollen. Hopefully it is not torn. Knee cap is not wonderful. But ok. Husband is tired of this game. He has learned to do some things...start the washer, start the dryer, fix his own food, and some of mine, he even made the coffee yesterday so it was ready for the
Push. of the button this morning. Hopefully I can learn to walk with all my new garb.

Oh Marilyn what a horrible state of affairs; you must be in excruciating pain! Do they think they will need to do surgery since it's so close to the artificial knee? Hubbies learn quickly how to survive, especially with coffee, LOL. That garb sounds terrible and bulky. Please be careful while learning to walk with it. I'd hate for you to take a tumble and make things worse. You have lots of prayers!

I had another seizure yesterday after getting stitched back up. We'll see if it holds, it seemed oozy last night.

Marlee, I like Marilyn's idea of having the two fur babies so you don't have to decide on names.

Julie, is your garden about ready for fall? How large is yours? I can't remember if you have a farm or a mini farm. (sorry) I just remember we share a passion for gardening.

Oh Denise, that's too bad, it would be nice to meet you. 2 1/2 hours seems quite a bit. Maybe when I'm feeling a bit better we could meet in the middle some how - that would be fun!!

Today my FIL and I are going to try the infamous pot stirrer. He's been wanting to get me one of these for years. So, I'm going to plop myself at the table and cut up tomatoes and in the pot they'll go. My tonight we should have 10 qts of sauce!

Marilyn, hope you can get your leg issues resolved soon. I bet that long brace is hot and uncomfortable at times.

Katie, I hope your tomato sauce turned out delicious with the new pot stirrer. Let us know. In the meantime, I hope you can rest and heal up better.

Katie, you make me think of the energizer bunny! You go down and pop back up. Where does the fluid go inside your body? Or where is it supposed to go? Maybe you need a wound vac...that is how we finally healed my second knee replacement incision.
I am a bit tired of being in bed. I did not realize that when you have a peg leg it is almost impossible to get out of a chair. So I can stand, walk and lie down. If I sit, Robert must help me get up again. It is raining again, every day this week! God is good and our world is soggy.
Since they can't do construction, our son, Baylee and Triston have been sorting, and vaccinating cows and calves. Unhappy bawling from all concerned for two nights so far.

Oh, No, Marilyn. I don't like the sound of your garb at all. Please be careful. A full brace is definitely not good. Please keep us posted.

Katie, you also need to take care of yourself. Those seizures are nothing to take lightly. I hope they can figure out what is causing them. Also let us know how the pot stirrer works out. I'm going to look that up on line. LOL!

Oh Marilyn, Take care between your knee and the weather, look at something happy.
Kati I hope you feel better soon, enjoy your pot stirrer and then your tomato sauce. I sure hope they stop those seizures soon.

Take care everyone and have a good weekend.

Love you all.

Katie, So sorry you are having to go through these things. I pray they can find the cause of the seizures and put a stop to them.

I spent today with my granddaughter, Tori, we went to the local Amish market and had lunch. They are having the annual Apple Festival next weekend. We are celebrating her birthday tomorrow so she was "helping" our resident pastry chef make her cake. They had a good time.

I hope everyone is having a good night.

Darlene, I've been watching you tube videos. I am amazed at the young gals sewing all sorts of vintage stuff to paper, making journals, etc. Fun and facinating.
