I also think the fans will be fun...My mouth is not having fun today. The good doctor sent me home with three pain meds as well as an antibiotic. I wrote a note for my husband and Hadlee saying that he came back into the room after he finished up...4 times. He was checking my wake up progress, and chatting with me. (My mouth was filled with gauze, so all I could do was snake my head.)

Bless your heart, Marilyn. I'm sorry you are dealing with pain again but I know when it's all over you will be happy you did it.

It will be interesting to see how each swapper makes her fan.

Everyone is so busy. Denise sorry to hear about your Dad. I will put both of you in my prayers.

Linda is was great talking to you the other day. Bronner's CHRISTmas wonterland is an amazing store. Did you by chance eat in Zender's? It used to be the only place for the best chicken dinner.

Not doing much today my face has been swollen from the two dental procedures I have had in the last week. Saw the dentist today and he said to take it easy till the swelling goes down and that everything looks good. Just surgery edema. As the swelling is going down so is the pain. I don't mind taking it easy once in a while. Gives me time to catch up will all of you.

Sara your use of the tea towel gives me an idea for a window treatment for my newly decorated craft room. I have some tea towels from Mary Jane's. Think I will use them. Maybe they would look good with some hankies mixed in. Will have to experiment.

The little aprons will be incorporated in that room also. Not sure how right now. Maybe a banner. It's fun to try different ways to display things.

As for swinging at the DR. My Dad almost hit one when I was 8 years old and had broken my arm. It was time to take the cast off and the Dr. had a tool that looked like the skill saw that my Dad used to cut wood for our house he was building. I didn't know the difference and was scared the Dr. would cut me with the saw. He told me to just shut up and put my arm out. He never explained it wouldn't cut my arm. I remember my Dad using a lot of restraint as he explained to the Dr. why I was scared of the saw. That Dr. didn't have a good reputation for his bedside manner, but he was the best bone Dr. around for years and years. People just dealt with his bad manners. To bad too. He had a lot of patients and could have had a better reputation.

Hope we get rain tonight. We really need it here.

Marilyn, I am glad your done with your dental work, Now the healing begins and you can feel better.Prayers for hugs and healing from God.
Denise thanks, I will keep him in my prayers.
Sara, it will be fun to see the different fans. I looked on line and found some cute shapes, I might try, most of them were patterns for weddings. One was from a funeral parlor. It is going to be interesting.

Hey Brenda maybe you could put your little hearts in between the towels. That would be cute.or something like that.
Have fun with it.Your ideas sound really cute.
Have a good day land watch for a e card. Hope it helps cheer you all.

Love you all.

Brenda, I have enjoyed my down time also., although it is taking longer than I thought. My stitches finally came out last night from the first round two weeks ago.today I had oral surgery to remove a spur in the roof of my mouth and the tooth with roots up into the sinus cavity. It was like hospital surgery...in a dental office. Less drainage this time, and the pain is more managable. But my swollen face is already green., so I am glad I was asleep. My husband has no clue. He thinks I am fine because I can walk.

Brenda, I like your idea of mixing hankies in with your MJF tea towels. A creative space like your craft room is perfect for having fun with your décor - makes you smile and helps to get the creative juices flowing. Another fun thing to do is to name your room - yes you can name rooms. When I say or write Yellow Rose Cottage it reminds me of all the fun I have playing (canning) in it.

Every time I walk into my Yellow Rose Cottage I feel like I'm either a Texas pioneer woman or one of the three bears should show up. The cottage has the feel of past times but also a little bit of fairy tale cottage air about it. And no I do not picture myself as Goldie Locks.

Marilyn - so sorry to hear you had more oral surgery. Take time to heal. And, yes, guys do not seem to notice (or they ignore) when we don't feel good. Ed is a little better, probably because he is a nurse and is a very caring person, but sometimes I want to just say "Leave me alone, please! I don't feel well."

A room with a name would change how you feel alot about being in there wouldn't it? I have to think about that.
Linda have a good day and feel good too!

Today has been a busy day. Laundry, cutting up lots of cucumbers...Robert and Hadlee cut up more than me!!! Sweet pickles that take 8 days. My kind of pickles.
Narco, 5mg is controlling the pain pretty good. They don't make me so dizzy. I feel more like a human not a zombie or....

Hi everyone from Paris! Wow, lots of important news here. Marilyn I hope your healing continues quickly and that you will be feeling much. After soon. Denise, I am sorry your Dad is struggling so much with pain these days. He must be so exhausted from it all. Sara, your curtain solution sounds just so adorable! a great idea too.

I am looking forward to getting back home and seeing my sweet kitty and just get back to my routine. Travel is fun but it is always so good to get home to your "nest"!!!

Sarah, what a great idea to name my room. Craft room just doesn't sound exciting. Although, I'm not good at coming up with names....Lol Will have to give it some thought.

Marilyn I feel for you. My mouth is still quite tender. Bending over sure isn't fun. The throbbing ugh! The dentist wanted to give me Narco, but I declined. Narcotic drugs have to many side affects for me and I throw up the medicine and still suffer the pain.

Winnie, Paris sounds wonderful. Glad you are enjoying yourself.

Hi sisters. Terry was in hospital for a week. Got out today. He had to have a heart cath. 50 to 60
block in one little artery. So putting him on med to see if that works. His blood sugar was high. But they got that down. Kind of scary but he is doing ok. He is so happy to be home. And so am I.

Marlee glad Terry is home with you. I'm sorry he has had a rough time.

Brenda, the name will come to you from your heart and imagination. I don't have a craft room - I work either on my kitchen table or table in Yellow Rose Cottage. Supplies are kept in my walk-in closet or in cottage. As canning takes over the cottage I will move crafting supplies into my house. Not there yet but getting close. When I do make the move I will have to downsize and keep only what I know I will use and not hang on to all the "gotta keep it just in case I may want it at some far off time".

Marlee, it is good to hear from you and will put Terry in my prayers for healing and glad he is home that will help him relax a little better.
Sara your cottage is so neat, nice to have that to work in. It is hard to go through stuff, I need to do that too.
Have a good 4th tomorrow.

Love you all.
