So I'm late posting these... with the troubles we are having right now, but just because I'm struggling doesn't mean I don't have a responsibility to post on here and challenge all of us. I'm sorry I'm late!!!
Here are the challenges for May:
Garden Gates: Grow Where You're Planted
Garden Gates: The Secret Life of Bees
My plan for this month is to BREATHE, then try to finish up some swaps, then finish the badges up from last month, and then tackle this month's. Yup - I'm terribly behind!!! For this month's badges I am going for the beginner badge of "Grow Where You're Planted" and Intermediate level for "The Secret Life of Bees." I realize that doesn't sound like much, but with only a couple more weeks of this month left, it is the best I can do!!! |

Shannon, you are motivating to me when you are "terribly behind"! There have been so many times that I've thought...if Shannon is mothering 7 children and homeschooling and running a household and a million other things...I should be able to do more! I honestly don't know how you do everything that you do! God's grace!
I'm still needing to finish my last embroidery badge and I'm working on several gardening badges right now. I'll know by the end of the month after I have everything planted where I am. I did finish In Defense of Food for Know Your Food and a weather book for my weather badge. I'm trying to get back on track after being gone for a couple of weeks but I'll get there.
I agree with Joyce...please take care of yourself first! And if you need help, you know that you can ask any of us! I have a list of expectant mothers and babies that I am praying for right now...you are at the top!!! |
