Thank you Connie!

I just sort of decided to make it a she ... what do you call a female snowman? A snowoman? Hum .....Snowperson is gender neutral! Well, I'll stick with a she snowman!

She is cute. What did you use to add weight and make her stand up?
Once again I am making seasonal pillows for my grand daughter. Then of course I made hearts for the heart swap, and lots and lots of Valentine's.I need to make my mini aprons for that swap. Oh yes, I pieced all of the 6 1/2 squares together, and ended up with a king sized quilt top. I just drew Sunbonnet Sue and Overall Bill squares, for the kindergarten kids to color. The teacher and I will also have a square. They will become a small quilt or throw. After each child has the opportunity to take the quilt home, to show it off, it will be auctioned off to earn $ for new learning tools. I will make a Star Wars pillow case tonight. One little guy has a birthday tommorrow. So far I have made Spiderman, Hello Kitty, John Deere Tractor, and Barbie pillow cases. I asked them early on what their favorite thing is.

Thanks Marilyn! I used crush walnut shells for the weight on the bottom.

Pillow cases are addictive. What pattern do you use? I like to use what is called the hot dog pillow method, which reminds me.

I am not using a pattern. I use two fabrics, not three. I also make a little bag and they have it to play with after removing their gift. All little children love little bags.

I'm behind posting on this thread so I will try to catch up.

Carole, cute lil snowwoman. Well Done.

Marilyn, you keep so busy I don't know how you do it all. The pillow cases sound like they would be fun to make.

Today I cut out four mini tea towels out of an old flour sack tea towel. 3" X 4 1/2" allows for 1/4" hem on all sides. Will clue the hems down. I will look through my embroidery transfers to see if there is anything small enough for me to use. If not I will have to draw patterns on the towels.

I finished the mini tea towels today and must say I think they are so stinky cute. One of my embroidery transfer patterns has small flowers scattered around the patterns to use for testing so I used them. Took a short cut and colored the flowers with colored pens rather than embroidering them. There's room for two more on the banner so I may make a couple more. The hems are glued so there's no sewing.

Sounds cute, Sara. Can you send me pics and I will post?
Today I need to make my mini aprons for the swap, package up the Heart Swap to send out, address a few more Valentines, and cut up my dog/cat squares. Some of these swaps get me side-tracked, but I love them. Can't wait to see all the mini aprons. Love your idea of mini tea towels, Sara.

Carole, that is beautiful! Love those nice bright colors!

I have been working on some small knitting projects trying to get back in the groove.
I am working up to a different knitting project so I can get my second badge for knitting.

Carole, love the Lorax quilt!!! We are big Dr.Seuss Fans!

I found this at the little antique store across form the post office I go to. I am thinking of making an apron out of it or just using it as a decorative pillow case. It is in mint condition for it's age! The pink skirt is sewn on top of the the pillowcase. Embroidery detail. cost, $8.00, no stains or tears!
