Amy thanks I loved the History Lesson,
I guess years ago McAfee used to be one of the best ones but sure went down hill from there. I am using one called Avast it seems to be ok. I have had it for about 2 years.
Well have a good Friday evening.

hugs

Marilyn, I use avast for my netbook and my tablet. It is free and my computer geek and friends all recommend it.

Marilyn, I totally feel your pain. I've had issues with McAfee in the past myself. Hope it resolves soon. My choir participated in two church services at the nursing home this past Sunday. The services are done by volunteers, and they asked if we could join them. It was really nice, and interesting to hear two different preachers, both wonderful in different ways. Now the choir is getting ready for our concert next Thursday to kick off the 4th of July weekend. I'm very excited, well be honoring the veterans, including a military color guard. Can't wait!

Happy Day!

Hello everyone,

Not much going on in my life worth talking/writing about. Keeping busy with quilting which is keeping me out of trouble ... hum ... that's no fun! lol

Did attend VQF (Vermont Quilt Festival) Chocolate and Champagne preview last Thursday. The quilts, as always, were stunning. In all the years I have attended the preview, they always ran out of chocolates the first 5 minutes. I would tell people "bring you own chocolates!" Well this year, they still had chocolates by 9:00 pm and it closes at 9:30 pm!!!!! So, every time I saw a basket I took a couple of pieces. I'm making up for all the years I never even had one piece of chocolate. Gave some to my friend and brought a couple of pieces for Pumpkin. I think the show attendance was down this year. It seemed so empty, not like the other years. Some say that there are so many quilt show that people just aren't as enthusiastic about them anymore. We have a huge show coming up in Syracuse NY in July. That show is put on by the American Quilting Society (the same people that put on the show in Paducah).

That's it for me. Catch you later! Cheers!

Sounds like the quilt show was nice, Carole, glad you got your chocolate this year! Nothing too exciting going on around here. Bonnie 's studying for her State Boards to get her Nurse Practitioner license, so it's like she's back in school again. She's going to sit for them in the end of July, so then maybe well all finally get some free time!

Happy Day!
