Lots of creative juices flowing! I am still working on my badges as well as a few other things. So looking forward to cleaning out my stash this year. Want to keep only what I really want to work on. Don't want too many irons in the fire. I have a quilt done that just needs binding and it is something that has been on my mind lately. After I finish my current project I am going to get started on finishing that one up. I am really going to scrutinize what I want to keep and what is going to be let go. I know I will feel much better when I get things down to where I can handle and enjoy them. Just seems like there are so many arts I enjoy, but don't get the time to do them anymore and interest has waned in some areas too.

I finally stitched the binding on this little quilt/table runner. Would you believe it's been sitting around, just waiting for me to pick it up for the past few weeks?

The pattern is called Three Christmas Friends. Catch you later! Cheers!

Last night I finished my spring socks. They are made from a light and soft acrylic blend. The colors reminded me of Spring and Easter and I love how they turned out. Spring has sprung down here in Florida!

Carole, your redwork is wonderful. And to think it is done BEFORE next Christmas.
Love your colorful socks Winnie. Knitting is a special talent. I have a friend that knits some for me. I love to wear them, they are so warm in cold weather.

I've really been trying to stay focused. I have so many projects started that need completion. It weighs on me and puts a damper on my creativity.

Focus is my new mantra for 2016 and let me tell you, it ain't easy! I can be so all over the place! I finished this little quilt. It's Frivol 4 by Moda and is being used as a display at Fibre Junction. The fabric is by Brenda Riddle. I love how it turned out!

Tonight, I'm hand sewing the binding on a quilt that has been finished for quite some time but only machine quilted the top on Monday!

Tea brewed, time for some sewing. Nothing like a quilt keeping you warm! Catch you later

Thank you everyone for your kind words! It means a lot to me.

Darlene and Bonnie, staying focus, for me anyway as I always seem to have a gazillion things going on at the same time and a gazillion vying for my attention to get started, it ain't easy! I get distracted easily ..... squirrel! lol Have you all seen the movie UP? I love that movie, that's where the squirrel reference comes from.

Ok, I have another finish. Moda Frivol 2 - Faithful by Minick & Simpson. I'm in love with the tin the kit comes in! What's not to love about a cute tin that has a clear top?! lol I started that quilt back in October 2015. It stayed on my designer wall until a couple of weeks ago when I said "self, get a move on!" lol I just needed to put the final border on it!!!! Voila!

The finished quilt measures 26" x 26". I just love how it turned out!

Catch you later! Cheers!

Beautiful quilts and socks, ladies! I just love redwork. This weekend I'm going to make an actual detailed list if all my ufo's. I'm inspired to do this by the new UFO badge, but I think it's just a great idea in general. I've been really hung up on a sweater I was trying to knit that has a somewhat complicated lace pattern. The instructions were not clear for how to stay in the pattern when shaping armholes, etc and I got so frustrated! But one of the girls on the main site gave me the tip to chart out the pattern, and I think I can move forward now. I'm determined to finish this even if I go nuts trying!

Happy Day!
