Hi everyone and thanks for inviting me to join your chapter! I'm looking forward to meeting and getting to know everyone!
I love everything homekeeping and homesteading!.....cooking, recipe collecting, knitting, sewing, quilting, crocheting...
My husband and I will be married 32 years on Thursday! Wow, where did that time go??? We have 2 married children, a boy and girl, and all 4 of them, plus 3 little grandsons, live here on our 7th generation central Oregon farm with us. We grow mostly grass seed, wheat and malting barley on our 1000 acre farm.
I've been a farmgirl sister for 5 years or so and have been wanting to get involved with a chapter and work on my merit badges and have finally gotten around to it!

Hi Debbie! Your farm sounds impressive. My husband homebrews. Would we come across any of your products at homebrew shops?

Welcome, Debbie! Hope you like it here! Your farm sounds wonderful, and your family and your interests! Well, you just sound a lot like a FarmGirl!

Abi, We sell our malted barley to our local brew shop. We've actually been working on started our malt house for the last year. Your husband and my son would have a lot to talk about! He has his own brew shop set up and tests new malts out. I'm not a huge beer fan, but he has made some that I really do like! He made a pumpkin pie ale last year that was a big hit!
