Good morning, fellow wildflowers!

Hope you all had a restful weekend. I, for one, am happy to be back at work after the long weekend. The time off was nice, but I was starting to go stir crazy.

I hope all of you had a peaceful, delicious Thanksgiving! We had a house full of company and I'm just now getting back to catching up on here. Erin, I'm glad you had safe travels and all went well for the funeral. Never an easy time...

Thanks Debbie. We had a great Thanksgiving... Just in Christmas land now. So much decorating. I'm meeting a friend today for a hobby lobby marathon. I feel like there's not enough time in the month. I have my daughters bday party on Saturday. Also 4 different Christmas parties for family to host at my house. It's still the most wonderful time of the year! :) Pray for me not to lose my mind... Haha.

DH and I played Santa in the sleigh today. (In other words, we delivered Christmas cheer and gifts to the Kids, g-kids, and g-gkids today! We will be heading to Minneapolis on Christmas Eve day to spend the holiday with a dear friend (my bridesmaid from 43 yrs. ago). We'll spend the holiday and weekend. Should be fun! We're trying to wean the kids (42 and 44) and g-kids from dependence on us. (and us on them....is that called co-dependence). Anyway, it is hard for all of us.

Merry 4th day of Christmas! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas Day. It's been very fun, and very busy here. I still have 2 more Christmas celebrations to go. One on New Year's Eve, and another the Sunday after. There is a "wintery mix" hammering the front of my house right now. My poor old house is pretty chilly, but luckily I have no where to be today, and my husband got me new slippers and wool socks for Christmas. Here's a picture of my main Christmas tree. Sometimes we string cranberries, but didn't get around to it this year. The trees pretty dry, but we won't take it down til epiphany. That's how we roll :)

Congratulations Shannon! So exciting!

Julie I'm right there with you. Ugh. It's the worst. I think we might be getting a new one soon. Luckily we have an iPad mini, but I can't stand using it. Such a dumb thing to complain about. The epitome of first world problems, but I hate trying to type something using a screen versus a keyboard. Also I had all my homeschool stuff on the computer, so I've been winging it.

Hey ladies! Just wanted to pop in and say I'm sorry I've been MIA lately! It was a crazy crazy few months!! I'm hoping things are slowing down a bit and I'll have a chance to pop in occasionally here. Not sure how much I'll be able to participate but I'll try!

Looking forward to seeing you on here more Sabrina! And thank you for the congrats :)

Thank you everyone else for the congrats as well! My hubby and kids are getting into the Farmgirl of the Month action! My hubby refers to me as the queen and keeps talking about making me a certificate to hang on the wall. He says my wish is his command. The kids will bring me something, bow, and say "your highness."

Congrats Shannon!!!!

Y'all ..... we got two new puppies over the weekend and I can't wait to be home to play with them. We already had 3 lab mixes and one toy poodle. The babies are Chiweenies. Told my mom and husband that I was going out to get them breakfast on Saturday. I brought back breakfast and puppies. 9 of them had been dropped at the local shelter. The blondie is Sunny and the black & tan is Leela.
