Thanks, I can't find the picture of the one I made and gave to JT for our 25th anniversary. It was quite a few years ago so I may have to take another photo as I think it was stored on a different computer that I no longer have. Will try and get a new picture later today.
I have been up most of the night with this sinusitis. Hard to breath lying down. I keep taking stuff but doesn't do much to help. I am supposed to meet a friend for lunch and we are to get snow today so I'll see how it all works out if I go.
Hope everyone has a good weekend!

I'm sure that the new merit badges for this year have been posted somewhere, but I'm having a hard time finding them this morning. Do any of you girls know where the easiest/best place to look is?

I hope you're feeling better, Denise!

Joyce, I received your last Christmas ornament! This is a sweet idea!
It will go great on our little rustic tree! Thank you!

I'm going to post some books/mags on the Barter thread if anyone is interested...mostly crafts, herbs. Check it out soon. I still have to take pics. Still downsizing.

Have a great day everyone.

Judith, thank you. I am doing much better. Only a little left and the cough is gone. A bit of an earache but nothing like a couple days ago. Now if JT and my dad could get through it. Dad can't seem to shake the cough.

Denise - glad you are feeling better, but sorry to hear about JT and your dad! Any possibility you could put a humidifier in his room? Emi has had her cough since October!!!!! I have a feeling she is going to end up with smoke induced asthma... I think the woodstove is prolonging her cough!

Blake is my cousin's nephew... I've been asking for prayers since he was born 11 months ago. He was born without an anus.. then found out he had a smooth brain... then multiple other issues. He's been in the hospital for the last 3 weeks to a month fighting to survive. They did a heart cath, put a stent in, and then when they tried to take him off the vent he coded, so they put him back on. But then he was battling pulmonary hypertension and kidney failure. He lost the fight last night. He would have been a year the middle of next month. But now he's gone. I know he is healthy and in God's arms, but it hurts so bad! I can't even imagine what his parents are going through! He has one brother, Mason, who is 5 or 6.

Yes - now I remember. As I was responding to your post, I was thinking in the back of my brain that this was the family member you were seeking prayers for. This is a very difficult and sad situation. I will be praying for you and Blake's family.

Shannon, as I said on "the Porch" I am so sorry for your cousin's family's loss of little Blake. An innocent child's death especially touches so many lives from the parents to his caretakers.

Oh Shannon so sorry for you and for his parents and family. You are right though, now he is healed and healthy and in the arms of Jesus. Will be praying for those who have to face the days without him. May God comfort them as only he can.

Shannon, I'm sorry. You are all on my prayer list. My sister's first little boy was named Blake...and he died at about 9 months. I can only imagine what he and his parents have been going through this past year. I just remember telling myself that "He's healed now"...just so I could get through the service. It will take them awhile to find a new "normal". So sad.

Just when I thought things were so emotionally draining, that they could not get any worse, things indeed get worse... My father has been admitted into the hospital due to a heart attack. They are looking at a stress test and heart cath tomorrow. Your prayers are appreciated!!!

Shannon, praying for your dad. Went through this with my dad 3 years ago when he fell. God knows how it all works out so find comfort in that and know we are praying for you.
