That sounds good. The Book of Awesome will be more of an ongoing thing. I mean, it's supposed to be daily, but it shouldn't take up too much time. Once a month is good though. We could do it either the 2nd or 3rd week of the month. It's up to you Kathleen. This is your baby :) |

The herb merit badges and reviews are work at your own pace projects.
I like that the recipes and Book of Awesome are structured and the herb related subjects are relaxed.
As we go along and add more projects I hope we can keep a balance of structured and relaxed. |

I agree Sara. In my mind, I think it's all relaxed! :) I don't think anyone will get too caught up on deadlines. At least I won't! |

I also agree. I think for the recipe project, a loose schedule is fine. Just following the table of content list is plenty of structure; although a monthly submission, if you choose to do, will give us a nice little cookbook in about 18 months.
BTW.... If you received my Egg Custard recipe, I found a typo which needs to be corrected. The baking temperature should be 350F, not 450F. Custard should be baked slowly to avoid separation (a watery custard).

Good morning Ladies! Let's start swapping recipes on Monday, 22nd, and each Monday thereafter. I thought about doing it monthly, but it will take forever to fill your "Cook Book".
So, if you agree, Monday, June 22, Breakfasts .... Either scan your recipe and email to everyone; or, type it directly into an email; it's up to you.
REMINDER: MONDAY, JUNE 29 IS THE LAST MONDAY BEFORE THE 4TH OF JULY HOLIDAY |

I sent my recipe in a group e-mail because I couldn't to it with attachment. Will figure out what I did wrong by next Monday, I hope. Wouldn't let me send Shannon's at all so I sent hers through MJF. Will have to double check her address.
If you have not received my recipe please let me know. I have received Kathleen's and Judith's; printed them out and have them in binder. |

Kathleen, I originally sent my recipe in a group e-mail. I just sent it to you again as an individual. Please let me know if you receive it. Neither was returned as undelivered.
Sara, poached eggs brings back memories of my dad fixing breakfast. Loved his poached eggs...hated washing the pan afterwards. (His eggs always stuck..bless his heart.) The entire family remembers his eggs. |

Received your recipe And will definitely try it this weekend when I have a full house. My 4 little grandsons love French toast, I know they will enjoy this . Sara, I love poached eggs and I think I will have yours for lunch today. In fact, I am going to have each breakfast I received each day this week. This will be a good week #128518; |
