I agree with what others have said. It is good to know your limitations and not over extend yourself .

All, perhaps we don't need a leader at this immediate moment? We have the site where we can visit. What about just keeping things as they are until some time passes and then we can reassess . Perhaps after the holidays would be a good time to see if someone feels they can take over for the new year? Ay other ideas out there?

Winnie,
That just might be a good idea. It's crazy seasons right now.
I'm sure we all can come up with some seasonal swaps to do, not do. Stay in contact , etc

Then re-evaluate after the New Year maybe

If there are no objections I can take the lead. I can be the go to person, can initiate things but do not expect me to come up with swaps every month etc. I can have a presence here, love this groups, have lots of ideas and I think we can be somewhat autonomous. Opinions, ideas, etc....

Carole, that's fine with me. You and Beverly helped Brenda and I quite a bit when we needed some breaks :)

Oh Carole
I think that is great!

We can think of swaps and all be involved that way. maybe we can have a Christmas package swap, where We get a list of what each likes and pick one thing from it and try to get that gift but make it a special gift and if it is boughten, maybe decorate a little bit and add a little chocolate or something they like with it. Or something like that and send it to whoever that swap partner has.

Carol, I think your idea will work fine!! It seems like we have enough energy to keep connected that between all of us, we can continue until we have a clearer path. Sometimes , just letting the tincture of time pass is the most sensible option. That way, we preserve what we have and wait for a new plan to emerge.

Thank you everyone for your support. Can someone let me know when it becomes official? Not sure how all of this works and what needs to be done. I am also not one to step on anyone's toes.

I'm off to work. Chat with you later!

Thank you everyone! I agree, we sure can do it and that's because we have lots of wonderful members. No leader can do it on her own! It's a group effort! Thank goodness this is a wonderful group of farm gals!

Sorry gals it has been awhile since I have been on here...life getting in the way for sure. So sad to see our Mother Hen leave, I am sure she needed to for a good reason, tho not sure why. I am sure we can get something together with those of us who are left. I know that I don't have the time presently to undertake a group like this.
