Wanted to let y'all know I am back from Denver, visiting Kent and going to the ballgames. We are very tired but we had so much fun, Our CArdinals won 2 out of 3 games so we were thrilled, they were all great games.
Trying to catch up as I just got home late last night so I will write more later.
Hugs,

Debbie

Hi Girls, I know I said that I would get the newsletter out by Saturday, I'm so sorry, we had some bad weather on Saturday evening and I lost some of the changes that I had made on Saturday. We lost power so the computer went down without me knowing and I lost a few things then when I got everything back up and running, I was very flustered. Sorry. So after all day yesterday (Sunday) and today I think I have got it done YEA!!! So hopefully tomorrow I will get it out to everyone. So sorry for the delay. Take care everyone.

Sherry received the newsletter and of course it is fab! Sorry to check in only every 5-7 days so it seems, but please know that I am thinking of you all and hopefully enjoying your summer; though I hear some have had some storms that have been pretty wild; we have had several threats here in Buffalo of bad rain the last week or so but not much of anything; just very warm and humid. My husband told my daughter yesterday who is visiting from Texas not to stay outside too long I just looked at Sean and said she is well used to this and much more, Brigid replied that our weather is what we Texans wish for! Stay safe all and keep cool!

Hi girls,
I am relaxing in my chair watching the finches dine. I love my bird feeders and laugh at the antics of the birds. They fight like a bunch of naughty children, and boy do they eat like a bunch of teenagers. I just filled feeders this morning and this one is already down a good 2 inches. I picked a huge bowl of strawberries earlier so I think a batch of strawberry jam will be on the menu Saturday. I am sure I have more than enough for 3 batches, but I don't know if I want to make that much. The raspberries will be ready next week.

Sherry, I would gladly trade a day or two of warm weather for my cool, but only a couple of days. I am enjoying not having to much heat or humidity. I have to agree with Debbie, the news letter is wonderful. I certainly hope you all let Sherry know how great she is for putting it together for us, I know I wouldn't want to give up my time like she does getting it ready.

I hope everyone has a great Independence Day!

Hugs
Julie

Hi everyone,
It has been a busy week here, company left Tuesday. Have had the granddaughters yesterday and today, Oliver had another surgery in Minneapolis this morning. The kids should be home later tonight. Tomorrow I head out to watch the grandsons show their 4-h steers, spending the night and going to their youth rodeo on Saturday. This is my last week of fun stuff. Haying starts in full swing Monday morning. Keith says my tractor is calling my name so it must be time to go back to work. I made a batch of Mulberry jam today. My son brought me Mulberries from Illinois, it is the first time I had ever tried them, they are yummy! The garden continues to bless me with loads of fresh herbs, lettuce, spinach, broccoli and strawberries, the beans are blooming like crazy so it won't be long before we are enjoying those to.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Hugs
Julie

Julie,
Glad you are getting to enjoy some cooler temps. Always makes it bearable when you have to be out on the tractor. We had lots of mulberries this year but the deer always come out and get them. They are not easy to pick. As soon as one is picked a ton fall off the tree. I told JT we need to lay a tarp down and just shake the branches. Then I can just sort through them.
Sherry,
Hope you enjoy your time at the reunion. Have to tell us all about it when you get back. I love reunions!
Joan,
Hope you are getting rest as well as Linda and baby. I am sure you are enjoying the new little blessing.
Prays for Brenda and thinking about everyone as summer seems to be a busy time for all.
Hoping we will see Rain back in the hen house with us sometime soon.

Hope everyone is enjoying their Summer days.

Denise~~
