Happy Sunday gals, We had a great service this morning at church - our choir is amazing! Then off for Mexican. I had dinner cooking at home in the crockpot - Pineapple Chicken - smells great, guess we will have it tomorrow - Yay :) With some rice and sugar snap peas. Having our small group on Wednesday for St Patrick's Day, Corned beef and all the fixings along with Irish Soda Bread.
Debbie, I would love to have your recipe for your gluten free bread. We are trying to be better with our eating as well. A little here and a little there. Glad your tootsies are warm :)!
Well, I'm off to try to get my craft/sewing room in order, one more time!!!
Hugs, Ruth

Ruth, in MaryJanes lastest magazine, the April/May Issue she interviewed a 17 year old young women who learned to cook Gluten Free for her whole family, her name is Linnaea and her web site is ImGlutenFree.com. I used her Sandwich Bread recipe, I went to Whole Foods and got all the Gluten Free ingredients then started baking. It really did turn out quite nice, she has a lot of recipes on her web site and I am anxious to try more.
Oh I forgot to share with all of you I started about 2 weeks ago watching what I eat more organic, vegies, gluten free and I have lost 5 pounds. I was shocked, who would have thought. I still have a lot more weight to lose but I will do it.
It is warm here today, just a beautiful Colorado Day, we are loving it.
Have a beautiful Sunday everyone.
Hugs,
Debbie

Hi My Hennies...

Mama Hen...I hope those taste as good as they look. I think I might have mentioned that i just gluten free pizza
crust and was not at all impressed with it. Tasted like hard-tack. LOL I think somebody said that it just
depends on whether or not you have a good recipe or not...I will have to take your word for it. One of the gals in
my Bible Study Group has to cook gluten free for her autistic son and I did taste a good gluten free brownie she
made one time.

It is beautiful here today. I just got back from walking the dog and enjoyed a sunny but brisk walk. It is so nice
to have Snickers back healthy and happy after that hip surgery he had.

I also went with DH today to do Property Serves up in one of our smaller towns north of here. We hit sun, rain, hail
and more sun. It was a lovely ride though.

Well, I am doing a Lent Read through the New Testament (even though I don't really observe Lent)...I do always like to
prepare my Heart for Easter. I joined Lifeway's Margaret Feinberg's Challenge. She had over 10,000 people sign up to
read through the NT in 40 days. It is a JOY to know that so many people are in God's Word together this time of year
focusing on Christ or Redeemer.

Have A Beautiful St. Paddy's Day Girls!!!

Love and Hugs,
Peggy

Hi Ladies,
It was suppose to be 70+ today......was so excited......but never got out of the 50s :(
I have spring fever so badly! Can't wait for warm sunshine and my balcony container gardening ;)
Anyone else anxious for spring?

In the meantime, I'm trying some spring cleaning/clearing. It's amazing what can be accumulated.
Trying to thin out the crafting supplies down to what I truly use as well !

How is everyone doing tonight?

Blessings,
Linda

good morning. Another chilly day here about 25. I am going to try to post a picture of my daughters. The one wearing the blue ribbon (Joanie) is Hannah's mom. The one wearing the pink ribbon (Laura), this is her first baby.
They are only 5 weeks apart!

Joan, such pretty girls. It will be so great having the cousins so close together. My sister in law and I shared the same hospital room, our babies were 2 days apart. I was two weeks early, she was two weeks late. Her name is also Ruth!
Enjoy all your grandbabies, they are such a blessing!
Hope you are feeling better!

What beautiful daughters Joan. How special to have 2 grand babies so close together. What a great farm girl day I have had. I had a wonderful phone call from Sherry. Thank You so much Sherry, it is always great o talk to you! Than I walked to the mailbox and had a delightful package from mama hen. A beautiful pair of tie died socks created by our dear Ruth and the cutest little set of metal measuring spoons for a pinch, dash and sprinkle. Thank you Debbie and Ruth! I just love the pretty socks. You girls have no idea how special you make me feel.

It has been busy days here. Doing a little sewing, working on staining woodwork and trim. Deep cleaning and purging. Trying to get things caught up for my busy spring.

I have been starting my seeds. Planted my peppers yesterday and I think I will do tomatoes and cabbages this afternoon. I plant a lot of hanging baskets and patio pots for the deck so will be planting a lot go flowers to get started too. Hoping to not spend quite as much at the green house this year and still have all my pots and flower beds full.

Have a great evening everyone
Hugs

Julie it was fun talking to you today. I nice to talk with someone that loves fabric like you do. I did get a little bit of sewing done this afternoon while Shelby took her nap. About finished with my project but just need to start another so I might get somewhere one of these days. And thank you Julie for the lovely surprise that I received in the mail today. It was fabric everyone, some pretty spring pieces to make a little something out of, don't know just what yet. Everyone have a great rest of the week.

Good Morning Chickies~

Just finished my coffee in front of the wood stove, and now it is time to get busy. Has been a rough and busy couple of days so I have not been on the computer at all.

The past couple of days have been so cold, we got snow on Tuesday and we will get more tomorrow night and Saturday, GRRR! We are suppose to go Denver tomorrow to visit with our Kent and have been looking forward to it for over a week now. But, we will have to see what the weather does and how hubby is feeling.

Peggy, Sunday I fixed Gluten Free Pizza and Egg Plant Parmesan, it was all pretty good we thought for a first attempt.

Have a wonderful day everyone, stay warm and Please Be Happy.

Hugs,
Debbie

Oops, I forgot something.

Yesterday I had my bi-weekly sewing grou with my neighbors and friends. Darlene you ask what we sew, we each work on our own projects, knitting, crocheting, embroidery, cross stitch, quilting we all do different things. We also teach each other, if someone does not know how to knit, crochet etc. then one of us will teach the other, and we really have so much fun. Then we have lunch and talk, I believe we laugh and talk more than we do any roject but we sure do have fun. There are 12 of us right now in our group and as new ladies move into the neighborhood we invite them and welcome them into our little group.

Wouldn't it be fun for our HH to have a sewing/craft group, it is just such a wonderful way to get to know one another more and share our craft with others.

Hugs,
Debbie

Debbie that really looks tasty and very pretty, how did it taste?

Your sewing group sounds like fun and really helpful if you didn't know something on sewing or a pattern you have trouble with and lunch how very special, It is a nice way to spend a day.

I mailed out packages today and now I am tired.

Well have a good day.

Happy Sunday Everyone!
Busy days here, getting ready to put the new flooring in the kitchen, dining room and entry.

I have several Thank You's this week that need to go out. Denise and Carole thank you for the St. Paddys cads. From our mama hen I got the softest pair of socks, they are bamboo and our dear Ruth tie dyed them for her to gift to me. I just love them. They are so soft and cozy. I also got a surprise from Ruth this week. An antique post card album, with a 1907 Easter post card in it. I was so excited to see this album and can't wait to get my antique and vintage postcards put into it. And last but not least an e-card from Darlene. I feel very lucky and blessed to have so many wonderful ladies in my life.

My dear Mother in law will be home from Arizona soon, so I have been working on freshening her house up for her. Will finish that up this coming week. We will also be Bangs vaccinating heifers this week. I always have the vet bring out all the vaccines for the dog and cats at the same time so they don't have to go in the car. It will be good to get that job done and know everyone will stay healthy. Still waiting for our first calf.

Have a great day everyone!
Hugs

Happy Sunday Jullie and everyone,
It has been an awesome day here, I went to the church in my community and they had a speaker from the Chosen People Ministries and it was awesome. The speaker was from Brooklyn and told us about Passover and Seder and how the Jewish celebrate it and I will never look at a Matso cracker in the same way. It was awesome.

The weather is beautiful and it was 66 degrees out. Lovely.

It is so cold here again, ridiculous. Now they are predicting another huge snow storm starting Monday evening. I can't deal with cold weather anymore :(

Happy Sunday evening gals, I am home from a fun weekend with my daughters, grands and great grands. I didn't get to see all my grands but was blessed to get to see several of them. Very busy, but fun time. The weather was sunny and 79 yesterday, this morning it was cool and rainy, then the sun came out for my 3 hour drive home :)! Just returned a little bit ago! Now I need to unpack, and I'm about ready for bed. This busy weekend wore this great grammy out :).
Lots of memories made!
Have a wonderful night!

Joan...those really are two pretty daughters you have. Do either one know what they are expecting yet...boy or girl?
It will be great to have cousins that are close together and fun for the daughters to share their pregnancies together.

Mama Hen...that Pizza and Egg Plant Parmesan look really tastie. Hope they were as good as they looked.
Neat to hear about your Neighborhood Crafting Group. That is FUN! My Bible Study Group turns into a Crafting
Group in the Summer Months. Everyone does their own thing like your group or Nothing but just visit. We all have
nights where crafting doesn't sound as much fun as just chit-chatting and that is OK too.

Just got home from a Medical Procedure for my sweet husband. Everything went well...but now we are both tired.
Will need a little nap here in a few minutes.

Tammy...I just finished the Girl on The Cliff...WOW what an Epic Story that was. Really good!!! Thanks for the
recommendation. We do love to read the same things pretty much.

Hope Everyone gets Spring Time Soon. We have it off and on. Getting April Showers before April however. I want
more of those 70 degree days like last weekend. That was just a tease! LOL

Love and Hugs,
Peggy
