Oh Debbie please don't feel like it is your job to make everyone happy. It is an impossible feat to be sure as it is in all of life. No one is responsible for anyone else's happiness. We do appreciate all the fun ideas you come up with for us! I have always enjoyed coming here and visiting and trying to support the other hens in whatever may be going on. Life is not always a bed of roses and we all understand that. It is most important to be there and comfort and support one another.

Prayers for your continued recovery and rest, rest, rest sweet lady!

hugs,
Denise~~

Good Morning my sweet sisters,
Oh Debbie read your email this morning! Praying for you girlfriend! You are not responsible for anyone's unhappiness, that is there choice. You do a wonderful job as our mama hen!

Sherry, I am flying over Texas in a few hours. I'll wave!

Carole, I can't download the video of your daughter skating, but look forward to it when I get home,

It will be good to get home. We have had a wonderful time, but hear spring is warming up at home so anxious to feel those rays on my deck.
I will write a long post when I get home and unpacked. Of course have lots of laundry to do and hugs and kisses to catch up on.
Hugs to all.

Julie I know you will be ready to get back home, but I don't need a ride now thanks. But I will be waiting to hear how wonderful your trip was. But would like to visit your part of the country some day. There is nothing like sleeping in your own bed. Lots of hugs to you.

Dear Mama Hen...as all the other girls have said...YOU ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE TO MAKE US HAPPY!

We can all put Our Big Girl Panties on and act like the Adults we are. I love this Hen House
but when someone gets their little feathers ruffled and takes their toys and goes back home...
that is neither your fault nor your responsibility to FIX IT or THEM.

Keep your CHIN UP...KEEP CALM...AND CARRY ON!!!!

Those who love and appreciate you are still here.

Blessings and Hugs,
Peggy

Good Morning Everyone,
Sherry your muffin sounds yummy. That might be on my to do list today. It is hard to get back in the swing of things. Spent yesterday running errands, catching up with my little people and trying to get suitcases unpacked. Today I hope to finish laundry. I hear you on the sewing end. All the granddaughters need new sun dresses for summer and if I don't get busy they won't be done until fall. Have a stack of fabric sitting out just to remind me to get my rear in gear. I love the bright, fun colors the mommies picked out for them.

We should be getting the first calf of the season soon, a sure sign of spring for me. I think I will start a few seeds today. I am going to try celery this year. Not sure it will grow this far north, but I love a challenge. I bought a little walk in greenhouse last year at the end of the season from TSC and want to get it up soon to put my seedlings in as soon as it is warm enough. I am hoping to start more of my plants this year since they are so expensive at the green house.

Have a great day everyone!

Hugs
Julie

Not sure all of you in the HH know who Gabe Gibler , but he works at Mary Janes Farm as the computer/tech guru and has for many years. He is the one that keeps the forum going, updated, deals with the viruses that might invade, takes care of all the Farm Bloggers and everything in theHen Houses. Without him and all he knows nothing would run very smoothly and most importantly we would not be able to post our pictures. Gabe also works out all of the kinks for us like the couple we are having now:-)

Gabe's birthday is March 31st so lets send him cards as we do with all our special folks in the HH and let him know how much he is apprciated and all he does for us. I think he would really enjoy it, it is sure nice to know that you are appreciated and someone knows all you do.

Be sure to note on your card that you are with the Scattered Prairie Gals HH too.

Top of the morning to all of my sweets! We are visiting my brother in law and sister in law in Sarasota FL, so I have some access to the internet, so I thought I would check in!

Carole - love the video of your little one! I am so glad that we live in a time that we can save these precious memories!

From my reading recent posts here, I hope there is no trouble in the henhouse! Debbie you have enough to worry about yourself, lets not make Debbie feel responsible for us as this is not her problem!

We have been away from home now for a week, through our travels and stays we have had sunshine all the time, and warmth!

I will check back and be good to your fellow sisses!

Good to hear from you Sue, glad you are enjoying your time with your family.

***All is well in the HenHouse Sue*** I love and appreciate each of you in the HenHouse.

April Annoucements coming soon. I hope each of you are enjoying and having fun with Secret Sister, we are so enjoying seeing the pictures of everyone's goodies.

Thanks for the info about Gabe's birthday Sherry I will get a card out. Thank you also for taking care of the computer issues with Gabe, he will get all the kinks worked out I am sure.

Shoulder is still giving me a lot of pain but nothing I can not handling, just doing things a bit more slowly. Back to Physical Therapy tomorrow.
Due to some medical issues with hubby and I we are having to change our diet a bit. Trying Gluten Free and Organic, yesterday was my first try making Gluten Free Bread and Muffins, hubby really enjoyed them and said they were really good, So, my first attempt was a success, below are the pictures.

Debbie M. was the Iditarod on Tuesday? I think I read on the Internet that it was and the guy who won had no idea he was first. Are you and Chris able to see and watch any of it from where you are in Anchorage?

Julie, so happy you are home and looking forward to pictures of the new calves when they arrive, and hearing all about your and Keiths life on the farms.

Denise thank you so much for the St. Patricks Card, it was so pretty. Mine are still sitting on the table next to my chair, guess they will go out next year.

Joan, I am so happy my Living Locket is finished and will be on the way, I can not wait to see it and will post pictures for all to see in the HH.

Wow, you did get a lot of snow Carole, nice picture. We had cold and snow yesterday, but it is suppose to be a nice, warm week with no snow, we will see.

Darlene, thank you for the sweet card, I look forward to them every week.

Ruthm my tooties are so warm thanks to you, and very colorful as well. Thank you.

That is it for my Sunday fireside chat, off to get dress and take a short walk with hubby.

Take care my sweet Gals, enjoy your Sunday with family and friends, and Be Happy.

Hugs,
Debbie

Debbie

Debbie they turned out beautiful. And so glad you had a good recipe, sometimes that makes all the difference. Have a great day everyone. I'm making Gumbo from scratch to day, it's an all day thing. The weather is getting colder since last night when we had the storm. So a good day for Gumbo and Garlic toast. Just trying to decide what to have for dessert.
