Yes Peggy, it is definitely coming too fast! I have two birthdays next week and I am traveling to get to those then back to be here for Christmas. Praying the weather holds in both places so we have good travel days.

Darlene if you are online. I sent out your Stocking and I got yours. I put it under the tree and SOX( the man cat) gave his approval and sleep near. He's funny.

Rain, yours will go out tomorrow! I was waiting on one thing to be delivered from Etsy. I ordered this item on November 14th and they shipped it (and delivered it) to the wrong address! They shipped a second one to me which is tracked for delivery tomorrow :/ Hope everything will be worth the wait!!

| I received my stocking from Ruth and boy oh boy is it overflowing! I did take pictures I will post them if I can figure out how to do it here. The stocking itself, is denim trimmed in lace and buttons, the buttons are on the cuff and spell out Sue, absolutely precious! Inside my stocking were, a box of candy thats gone (didnt even make the picture), a teddy bear with a sweater, some material, some tea, a book on Christmas teas, an assortment of old buttons, pretty soap, a cute notebook. a red round doily, a small gourd painted with a Santa, hot chocolate and a white, lacy thingie to put a small travel size of kleenex in, hope I got it all! Thank you Ruth from the bottom of my heart! |

Oh My Merry Christmas Stocking from our Mama Hen was Fabulous!!!
I took pictures and will post them tomorrow on a private post to ALL You Hennies.
But today Iam determined to get my Christmas Cards Finished and then I have a
Bible Study Christmas Party tonight.

Hi Marlee, I am at the library and I just wanted to let you know I received your Stocking, I love it. I have it full and hanging with the rest of the stuff around it.
I am glad SOX likes it too.
He probably smells my cats as well.

Darlene so glad you got your box, I got to confess the candy is gone. Sox ate it. Not some of the things is under the tree and other in my stocking which I have hanging above the fire place. Whoohoo! My computer was on the fritz this week so I know how you feel...

I opened my rarely used front door last night and there was a wonderful box from Rain.
Rain, thank you so so much for such a fun package!
The stocking is beautiful...red and gold with a beautiful flower made from a vintage potholder
So cute! There was a lovely apron, a pair of beautiful earrings,
Some wonderful ornaments ...love the blue felted and sequined one and the coke tin ornament (is it vintage?)
Beautiful tea dyed hankies (hand dyed by Rain),
Tons of beautiful lace, a darling Christmas tin....just all wonderful and thoughtful gifts!

Actually, I made the stocking, the blue felted ornament, the tin decoration, and the vintage ornament in the tin...well, I took the metalized ornaments and put it all together. The earrings are from the 1920's. So glad you enjoyed it all! It was terrific fun putting it all together for you...happy holidays to you and your family. Thanks for being for my partner!
