Good morning Hens from still a very sick Mama Hen, I still have no voice some might say that is a good thing:-) But, for me it means I can not talk to any of my Dear Sweet Friends on the phone:-( Soon I hope.

Below is the list of partners, please if you have any issues with the list please email me personally. I may not have a voice but I can still answer my emails.

Let's have fun with the swap and enjoy the holiday season. Let us not forget to remember our Hens who do not celebrate Christmas and let them know we think of them in the celebrations they do honor during the season.

Ruth/Sue
Tammy/Rain
Julie/Carole
Marlee/Darlene
Sherry/Amber
Denise/Kathy
Mama Hen/Peggy
Mama Hen/Debbie Main

Hugs,
Debbie

Hi Debbie,
I hope you are feeling lots better soon...try the old honey and a bit of vinegar mixed together, suck on a bit off a spoon and let it coat your throat. Very soothing and helps heal up the raw spots.
Of course, resting your vocal chords is also important!
I'm sending you more virtual chicken soup...
love,
Rain
PS note to Tammy: I am so excited to have you as my swap partner!

Debbie,
Thanks so much for posting our partners! Hope you feel better quick. If you ever get a chance to try a tea called Throat Coat it is excellent. My son had the sore throat recently and it helped him very much. Seemed to help him get over it quickly too.

hugs,
Denise~~

Hey...All You Stocking Stuffer Hennies...don't forget to go back and find & choose 3 of the 6 items your
partner listed and make sure you get those in her stocking too. In all our Excitement...some times
we forget the most important stuff...getting those special things she likes to receive.

I love having Mama Hen for my Swap Partner this year. I have everything purchased except her 3 favorite things and the Stocking...
...The Most Important Parts!!! LOL

Have Fun Girls and Remember that mail out is the First Week in December!!!

Hi Peggy & Debbie~

I went shopping yesterday, it felt good to get out after being in and sick for a week. I got both of your stockings and a few little treasures to put in them:-) Now I will check out each of your list and see what 3 from your lists I will add, thanks for the reminder on that Peggy.
Have a beautiful weekend everyone.

Hugs,
Debbie

Oh hang on let me look.

Well I looked everywhere and couldn't find my list either, I was sure I put it down but I think I put on a different swap so here is a list for you. I revised the list to have 6 ideas.

I collect cats or moose things, anything.
I like Lindt chocolate,
Refrigerator magnets from all cities or states,

soaps, I like lavendar, mahogany, woodsy scents
crocheted topped kitchen towels

sparkling gel pens all colors I use them alot on everything

anything that you enjoy I will probably enjoy as well.

Have a good evening and have fun.

Tammy,
I JUST found your email to me in a "junk" folder for some unknown reason...yikes! Probably way late to reply...I am allergic to cow dairy except for butter and some heavy cream, so dark chocolate for me is a nod to allergic-ness! I love nuts and dried fruits in chocolate, or even spicy pepper.

Mystery books...from your Hen sheet info, I think we have very similar ideas about what makes a good book! I don't read horror, child abuse, or other versions of mysteries that make me feel horrible, I tend towards historical without sci fi or fantasy elements. I love the old Ellis Peters, "Brother Cadfael" herbalist monk books, or Susan Wittig Albert's series' of Beatrix Potter, the Darling Dahlias, or China Bayles the herbalist, just as some examples. I'm not the easiest person to send a book to, mostly as I am a frequent visitor and volunteer for our local library so one of the perks includes getting on the lists for the hardback mysteries! I love any books that involve art and craft to some degree, sort of the "cozy series" types of paperbacks, knitting, scrapbooking, etc. I do read Laura Childs scrapbook and tea house series'.

I love aprons and linens and anything to do with baking, without msg or perfumes.
Anyway, I am hot on the trail for your stocking, probably won't send out until Friday or Monday as I'm waiting for a delivery that is sloooooooooow.
hugs to all,
Rain

Hi Rain...no worries about the email! I just figured you thought I was an idiot for not understanding the chocolate situation...LOL. After I read it again, it made sense...lactose intolerant/no "milk" chocolate...duh! If you are like me (and it sounds like you are), you probably read all the newest books by your favorite authors as soon as they come out. It is really hard for me to list my favorites as well, because as soon as a new book comes out I'm on it! I don't care for horror books either or any of the other creepy topics in mysteries. I think my favorite mystery has to be Gone Girl...have you read it?

Your stocking is almost ready to go, but I am waiting for something to be delivered. Tracking said it was delivered yesterday, but it didn't get delivered to my house...grrr. So Friday or Monday is perfect for me too.

Tammy :)

Hi Tammy,
No, I haven't read Gone Girl...good on you for knowing one I haven't read! Seriously, "idiot" not where I went at all with the email, I just felt bad it got stuck in spam-land. Yea! Friday or Monday it is.

Debbie and Peggy, at last your Christmas Stocking Packages are on the way, hopefully you both will have them by Monday.
Thank you again Ms Peggy for the idea of the Swap and helping me Hostess it, y'all are the best and this has been such a fun swap. Can not wait for our Valentine Day Swap, so many possibilities with this one. Plus you know me and surprises.
Off to get my eyes checked and order new glasses, it has been almost 5 years, shame on me.
Talk y'all later.
It was minus 18 when I got up at 4:45 this morning, brrr that is cold. Stay warm my Sweet Hens.
Hugs,
Debbie
