Not sure about treats, I have sent her Gum and Skittles, cause it is too hot to mail chocolate, she has no Air Condition! and did mention it was rough this past week with the heat and I really think she just needs some friendly Hello's!! She does some hard Manual labor!!! and said her feet were bothering her this week, she has had to stay off of them and something about all this scrap metal she has been loading up weeks for removal off the land didn't go so well, overall you could tell from her writing she was down. She said she will be there till at least March 2014.It will cheer her up I know hearing from all of us!!SPG are the BEST!!!

Michele loves magazines, mystery books, Gummy Bears and she will tell you she loves coffee, coffee and more coffee. Anything that y'all may Can like jelly or something like that she would love. She appreciates each and everyone of you and all your letters, it makes her feel so wonderful to know we care and think of her often. She is so excited too about being a part of our Hen House and doing the Fall Swap with us.
Thank you all from Michele, she truly loves all of you as you can tell by her long letters to each of you.
I have known, Michele for a couple of years now and she is very special so please keep those cards and letters going to her as she needs them so very much.
Thank you so much.
Luv and Hugs,
Debbie

Thank you for the reminder! I just received a letter from her and she told me about her feet. I was wondering if anyone has a suggestion for something to help heal them. Special soap, or medicated powder? She said they had deep cracks in them. I use Carmex on my thumbs as they crack in the Winter. Any suggestions from my chickee sisters?
Thanks and hugs,
Ruthie

Ruth, I read that too and I felt so bad for her. I am sending her some Eucerin Lotion, it use to be available Rx only and Then Smith-Nephew bought it and now you can buy it at Wal-Mart, One of my Customers use to bring it to me every time I cut her hair and it is great!

I got a long letter from Michele the other day and she is one tough cookie! I feel so bad about her feet...Connie she needs one of your special pedicures. I have been sending her books and magazines and she told me she reads about a book every day or two. I have been sending her mysteries. She also said she likes pretty much all kinds of magazines. I am getting ready to send her another box, but now I know I can send coffee and gummy bears too! Thanks Debbie for that info!

Palmer's Lotion is really a good one as well. It works fast when my hands are really dry.
I will see if I can get her one of them.

I owe her a letter...I will try to get one out this week.

She is such a neat sister and I admire her ability to be off the Grid.
I couldn't do it. I don't have that much Farmgirl in me. Michele could have
easily come out West in a covered Wagon...but not me. I need my Shower, Blow-
dryer, and AC. And when God created me...He handed me a Make-up Bag and said
"Use It!"

Hugs,
Peggy

The BEST I have used is this
http://www.amazon.com/Miracle-Aloe-Guarantees-Unpleasant-Moisturizes/dp/B003BWBRLA/ref=sr_1_27?ie=UTF8&qid=1377681793&sr=8-27&keywords=lotion+for+dry+cracked+feet
I am really back about going barefoot ... so my heals crack wide open ... this is the best I have used. Pricey but worth it!

Thanks for all the help with what to send Michele, sending writing materials that she can use for herself and to send back to us, so that she doesn't have to go buy it herself.(Paper, Stamps and Pens). And some coffee and a book or two.

My package to Michele is in the mail, had to add a few more goodies. Found some special socks that are infused with aloe vera to help your feet and they were really soft maybe she can use them. If not now maybe when the weather gets a little cooler. Am starting a new box for a later date.

Sherry, I know it will be so appreciated!!!! Oh those socks sound wonderful!! I am getting my box ready to mail. I found 2 great hard back mystery books at the craft mall today, got lotion and picked up some coffee and stamps. Every little thing helps, and Mama Hen knows her well and said, "It will be sooooooo appreciated!!!" Peggy, I agree I could not endure the hardships she faces every day!

All of you are AWESOME! Thank you so much for caring so much about our Chickee Michele living off Grid, you have no idea how wonderful all of you make her feel. Just knowing someone (many) care and is thinking of you means so much.
