Well, she is really a special chick. I know I admire her tremendously. I couldn't survive a day in her shoes!

Hey you Neat Hennies...How about we each make sure she gets one Christmas Gift from each one
of us in December. If we all sent one thing she would have a lot of Christmas Gifts to open.
And I do literally mean just one gift and we could think outside the box. It seems like all of
us are sending her stamps, books, writing materials...but maybe we could do other gifts besides
those everyday things she needs. I know she appreciates them ALL BIG TIME! But make it really
seem Christmasie for her. Example...some one could make her a little Tree, someone (like me)
could fill a stocking for her. Someone could buy her nice snuggly PJ's, Some one some could get her nice comfy slippers, list could go on and on. We could even do like a sign up sheet and
each person let the others know what they got her or will get her so we don't duplicate. I can
see her getting 10 little Christmas Trees, or 8 prs of slippers etc. Too Funny!! I should have
run this by Mama Hen...but my brain just came up with it as I started typing. LOL

Let Me Know what you think Girls OK?

Ladies, Michele does not celebrate Christmas. So, no Christmas decorations trees etc.
Of course little gifts anytime is always alright, just no Christmas.
Not all our our Chickees celebrate Christmas, Michele is not the only one so we must remember this at Christmas time.
Peggy it was a good idea you just did not realize that she does not celebrate Christmas.
Sorry.

Ladies, I just wanted to share with you that Michele chooses to live off grid for now and that she has a home with all the modern conveniences in Massachusettes, where her hubby lives. She will be returning home in March, she just wanted some time to herself and since she has lived off grid before wanted to do it again. That is Michele! She is also helping a friend out who owns the farm she is living on now it needed some work and clean up so it was the perfect solution for them both.
So, keep those cards and letters coming as she loves hearing from all of you. She is also enjoying your gifts and appreciates all she receives, so thank all of you so much.
Hugs,
Debbie

Darlene...I feel the same way. I was glad that Mama Hen emailed me and let me know.

So, I will just keep sending her books and everyday stuff. She seems to appreciate
all we do to cheer her up and keep her busy (writing letters). LOL

Thanks Mama Hen for keeping us informed!

Hugs,
Peggy
