Here it is my fourth announcement.
I thought it would be fun to have a "Craft Hostess" each month. Whoever the Chickee Hostess is for the month she will teach us through the Hen House how to make a simple and fun craft. You can make it if you chose, then share it will all of us. Our hostess will answer any questions or address any problems you might have with craft. But, as always you do not have to participate if you do not have the time.
Our September "Craft Hostess" will be Teri.
October will be Tammy
Looking for Hostess through the rest of the year. If no one wants November or December I will take one of these months.
I think we will have fun with this and learn a new craft along the way.
Teri will be chatting with you in September about the craft she will be teaching.

Debbie I have a craft but not sure it would earn a badge,could do some looking tho. I will do Nov. or Dec. if you would like for me to. Just let me know.

Sherry, you do not have to earn a badge if you do not want, it is all about all of us learning a new craft from our other Chickees in the Hen House. November or December is still open Sherry so you tell me which month you would like.
Darlene, Tammy has October so I will put you down for January. Your tile magnet will be perfect.

Craft Hostesses:
September Teri
October Tammy
November Sherry
December still open (I will take December if know one else wants it)
January Darlene
Sue maybe next year as we will have lots a months to fill up.
Now, I know there is some concern about how to post your pictures for your craft of the month, you can post them on our facebook page if you wish or your own blog, then on the HenHouse thread you will have your simple instructions and be able to answer any questions the Chickees have. Any question let me know.

Yes, that took me a bit to figure out how I was going to keep this tut seperate from my blog posts and still show photos ... So I have created a MJF HH page on my blog ... that will be for the HH girls in Sept. for the tut. I will supply a link here on the day I post the page and made it so you can leave comments to ask question on the page.

Love this Idea too. Don't know what my time schedule will allow but maybe I can take a month
next year. Sounds like this year is filled up anyway.

what if we have a group photobucket account we can load photos onto so we can all use it for instructions and photo sharing.

Lucky girl Amber, yes then you will be able to post on the HenHouse. The rest of us are waiting for Gabe from the farm to put in our new button. Oh yes Denise post pictures here as well through photobucket.

I am willing to be the hostess for a month, and it looks like December, or next March or after...is that correct? Do you ladies want to do the month of December, or will it just get lost in holiday prep and family time? If yes, I am willing to take it on as I will be home for most of the month.
As far as a badge goes, how about the Sew Wonderful Expert level of sewing up a "BakeOver takeover wrap for a potluck hostess gift and/or the set of embroidered hot pads? I could do the beginner and intermediate levels as a bit of a review if needed.
Or: a cool apron? pockets for clothespins, or a crafter's apron with pockets?
Or: Safe toys: all the levels
Or: a Nellie Will-do felt dryer balls, or knit then felted slippers or a bag, or a stitched book wrap cover, or ? Or a Nellie Make-Do creating felt out of thrift store sweaters?
I'm up for any of these! I can't do January or February. So December or March.

Would you all give me a vote on what of the above-mentioned badge options you are interested in for December?

Kind of unclear on what is meant by badge options? All of those things mentioned sound wayyyy out of my league, but I'm sure we have some very talented girls who can take on this type of craft.
