Hello all,
Thank you to Debbie, CJ., Tammy, and Kathy for the postcards that were awaiting me as I returned home! What a pleasure. Mine are going out tomorrow, yes the last day, as I just came back from a week-long textile and weaver's conference in Golden, CO. Fabulous!
The roses and peonies are all blooming, the peas and greens and strawberries are lush and tasty, lots of mushrooms out of the grow room. I love my life!

Rain, I wish I had known about the textile and weaver's conference for two reasons. It's sounds really interesting and that's only 20 minutes from my house! We might have been able to connect. Maybe next time.

I agree with Kathleen wish I had known Rain was going to be in Golden. I would have driven up to see her. Maybe next time.
So far have gotten wonderful cards from Kathleen, CJ, Tammy and Debbie. Love this swap what great cards. I don't think I have ever gotten a post card before.

Hi girls! I am alive! School's out for the summer so my mind is mostly free and clear to...hmmm?! Wander?! Hi Kathy and Marilyn,
No regrets as the whole shebang was so busy there wasn't any "downtime". I was Anita Mayer's assistant, a lovely soon-to-be 80 yr. old that is like my adopted mother. I have known Anita for close to 20 years, she is the one that inspired me to sign up for the City and guilds of London diploma course in art, design, and embroidery, and my husband and I went to Morocco 5 years ago for her 75th birthday with a small group of her friends. She taught 3 classes and gave a keynote address and fashion show (with me as her model!) at the Weaver's Day with over 300 people from 16 states and 5 countries attending. It was amazing and overwhelming and very hot and busy non-stop, and yes, I would do it all over again! For any of you that want to take a class with Anita, she is returning to teach at Recycled Lamb in Golden in late October for a 2 day class and an evening lecture. I am already signed up and WILL have some days before or after to hang out!

I got a second card from CJ today too...and it's a MJF card which I love. I also got a beautiful card from Marilyn. I hope I can see Colorado someday and meet all the lovely Colorado farm sisters there! I am sure enjoying my postcards!!!
