Thank you to CJ, Laurie, Marilyn, Debbie, and Pam for the birthday cards! I loved them all.
Marilyn and Laurie, your handmade cards were very cute. Making cards is on my to-do list for some day in the future. Laurie, I love the stamp you use on your envelopes.
Pam, I really liked the southwestern picture on the front of your card.
Debbie, thanks for the tea bags. I'm enjoying a cup right now.
CJ, thank you for the farmgirl t-shirt. It fits perfectly.
And thank you all for being such wonderful women!
Hugs, Kathy |

Pam, I forgot to thank you for the seeds. I'm eager to see if I can really get cacti to grow from seeds. :-)

Kathy,
I have done it before...cactus seeds really do grow. I have a bowl of cactus that I grew from seed years ago. Believe it or not, I have a huge volunteer cactus in my garden here in Phoenix that started from seed (probably from bird droppings) a few years ago. It is going strong outside by my pool and gets beautiful flowers in the summer.
Good luck with your seeds and please think of me fondly when they turn into plants and add a bit of green to your life : ) And once again...happy birthday to you!

Pam, you inspire me to give it a try with the seeds.
CJ, I have a hard time imagining you without a garden. I have had to rig many contraptions to keep out deer and rabbits. It's mostly successful although they manage to get in now and then. A deer got under the netting and ate several zucchini blossoms. It takes them only a few minutes to do a lot of damage.
