Thank you so much Tammy, CJ and Robin for the cards etc. of birthday wishes it means so much to be remember at my age. LOL!
My son Kent has been home since Wednesday to help me celebrate the 4th and my birthday. He will return home to Denver today.
Monday, my birthday, Marilyn is taking me to St. Elmo's a lovely Ghost Town about an hour and a half from home. I am so looking forward to that, and a little hike. It will be a fun filled day with a wonderful friend/sister. Wait until she sees my new Rod and Reel I got for my birthday.
Hubby is still off fighting fires not sure when he will be home, it is looking more like September or October, oh it has been a long 3 months already. We have not seen each other since the first week in May. YIKES!
Happy Birthday Rain on the 10th I hope you too have a fun filled day and all your hopes and dreams come true.

Today I am heading over to an afternoon party at a friend's lake, then to a dinner party at the Flying Fork, hosted by a neighbor. Another friend gave me a huge party Sunday night, had a bbq last night with a dear friend that flew in, had several folks show up and WEED everything yesterday. I love my life! Right now I am marinating in the pleasure of working quietly in my studio, paints and pencils and thread, a yearly ritual of the start of my "new year". I tend to mark the passage of time by birthdays, not 12/31 or 1/1. Next week the kids are coming up to celebrate.

The mail just arrived. Wow! Thank you all so much!!! Marilyn, I love the hankie, and yes, please keep the books as long as you like and they are interesting. Please don't worry or spend money shipping those, let's just wait until we can get together in the future. I will definitely let you know if I need any of them!
I love the Turkey red work on the quilt square, Debbie, and CJ, yes, the tee shirt fits just right. Thanks to everyone for all the cards and wishes. You folks are the best!
