Well,,, look what I managed to bring back from California...
If there is a way to stow stuff in my Carry-On, trust me, I will...
I had to stash my small handbag in the Train Case to comply with the 2 carry-on items rule,, but not a problem,,,

I found the Train Case at a Thrift for $1.99 and the fabric at Monica's Quilt Shop.
I also found this cool Glamping fabric panel at the quilt shop...

it's 24" wide by 40" long...I think I will make 2 rows of coordination fabric to line across the top and long 40" strips, about 16' wide (aprox) to make a large lap quilt.
I luv the whimsy of this panel..
Gotta luv fabric and patterns,,, they pack well... heeheehee..

Oh and I forgot to mention,,, I plan to repurpose the train case,,, I think this one I will sponge paint to give it a moteled look and then re-do the inside with a sweet fabric that matches the outside of the case... and of course,, some Bling Bling...
Now to just find the time to work on this case..

That case looks JUST LIKE the one I had in the set my parents bought me for my high school graduation gift. I don't know what happened to it, but I do still have the largest case and I know the middle one was burned up in our house fire 24 years ago.
