Well, Silky has a number of special places. Her highest one is in a basket on top of the shelves over my sewing machine. Sometimes you can't see her up there. He lowest one is under our bed, on top of the Thermarest pads we have under there. But there are many, many other! At night she goes into her "apartment" (kennel) where she is confined so as to not roam the house, or race around keeping us awake. It's a wire kennel, roomy and she has her food, water, litter box and a sleeping loft! CJ

They change places every couple of weeks, but at night Cleo is always on my side with her but toward my face. Never fails.

I don't have a cat but my two dogs sleep in the same spot all the time. One sleeps in the kitchen under the chair and the other sleeps on her pillow. Or should I say her bum sleeps on the pillow! Lol

It's crazy to think but she will also curl up just like a kitty on the pillow and actually fit!

Oh my goodness, Grace. I love the picture. I have a picture of my cat, Gracie, sleeping on a top shelf in a basket. I'll have to look for it.
Krista, what a precious picture of your dog sleeping with its "bum" on part of the pillow. Too cute!!!!!! Marly

My cat and dog have their own special places and ways to sleep.
This is Bob sleeping on the back of the couch.
This is Mitzi sleeping in the corner by our bed. She always puts her head under the bed.

Your kitty found herself the best spot way up there! My kitty enjoys several favorite spots both inside and out. I think cats specialize in sleep locations for just the right conditions for a specific nap because it seems to change with the seasons and time of day. Krista, I love how your Dane has claimed the dog bed for the part of her that fits! That is hilarious!!

Herschel is nearly impossible to photograph when sleeping - he wakes up immediately as soon as you get close to him . . . but as you can see, I truly have "cats of leisure" . . .
Can't make the bed yet . . .
Sweet dreams with Bugs and Beans . . .
Glenn and Maggie (with her stuffed possum) . . .
Mr. and Mrs. Buggsie . . .
The expensive Garden Window that my husband now calls the Cat Penthouse (and why I only grow cat-safe herbs and plants) . . .
When I am trying to work . . .

This is Raven playing peek-a-boo in the herb garden.
This is all three of my kits. Ravenous after a day chasing bugs and watching chickens!

I wouldn't have it any other way! I have had at least 1 cast since I was 5 years old . . . and no less than 2 at any time in the past 20 years. I love ALL animals, but the felines have always been and always will be my favorite. My dream is to go to Tiger Island in Australia, but that would require getting on a plane . . . so the house variety will have to do!

Once my daddy retired from the Military and we setteled down,,, I was finally able to have a pet other then a couple of fish... My 1st kitty was a pure white shorthair with 1 blue eye and 1 green eye.. When I got married,,, I took in a pure black kitty (stray) mind you I was newly married and hubby said No to the kat,, I pretty much let him know 'don't make me chose".. he didn't and we had licorice for 18 years,,,, o er the years our family of felines expanded,, all homeless souls.... Peekaboo, my 15 y/o kitty was the only kitty that was not a stray... Luv my kitties,,, but I have room in my heart for pups too!

It is such a hoot to see all these beautiful cats. Winnie, the pictures of Bob and Mitzi are just adorable. Cyndie, Herschel is showing his sense of security, for sure. Bugs and Beans and Herschel, Glenn, Maggie and Mr. and Mrs. Buggie are too cute. Katie! Your cats are beautiful. Thanks for sharing such sweet faces. Marly
