A cute thing about being old, today a little girl was looking at me at work (I work in a grocery store) and she said, "You must be old like my mommy because you have pretty glitter hairs!" Took me a minute to realize that she was talking about my grey hair. I am 37 and my hair by my eyes has really started going grey all of a sudden.

So, there you go girls! Straight out of the mouth of babes, it's not grey hair, it's GLITTER HAIR! :)

Ohh I have been calling my greys glitter since they started coming in. Hubby complimented them the other day lol he said the few grey strands I have are "striking" I guess that is good lol.

I'm off to a retreat tomorrow and I CAN'T WAIT!!! I'll miss my kids but I'm planning to take full advantage of the chance to relax. Hope everyone else is doing well.

Yesterday was a stressful day for me, my husband rolled his car avoiding a deer and ended upside down in a fallow field. Thankfully not hitting anyone else nor injuring himself too badly, but that's definitely NOT the type of phone call you ever want to get! Car is totaled, it's already been taken to the wrecking yard. At least it was old and paid for, but it was going to be my son's 16th birthday present so now we'll have to figure something else out. But it could have been worse.

Sabrina, I'm so jealous! I would love a day away! I can't wait to hear all about it.

Jenn, I am so sorry. I'm glad it wasn't worse and that your husband is ok. Will your insurance give you anything for the car?

Nah, the car was old. It was 1998 buick so it was only worth scrap price, we just signed it over to the wrecking yard just to be rid of it. I surely didn't want it sitting in the yard here at home! He's feeling better today, still sore though.

I don't blame you. We almost had to junk our old car a couple of years back. Luckily we were 100 dollars shy of it being totaled so the insurance covered it. I'm glad your hubby is feeling better. Hopefully he will be back to normal soon.

So, exciting news for me today. I just finished my final exam for my final class for my degree! I got my degree in Retail Management :) Woohoo! After three long years I am finally done. A huge thank you to Safeway and my management team for their support.

Thank you Krista. No, I am staying at my current job but now I am eligible to be promoted to a backstage or upper management position. I am not sure which route I want to pursue yet, I'd really like to do something in loss prevention.

How is everyone's spring going so far? Anyone planning their garden? Our weather is starting to be really nice. I have been taking my boys outside to play and we have been loving every minute of it!

I've planned my garden...but we are still experiencing frigid temperatures here, so no hopes of planting any time soon!!

Nice! I'm planning on keeping mine very small this year. I am thinking only tomatoes, onions, and possibly squash. I actually have a few onions up already. They must be left overs from last year because I haven't planted anything! My dad said he would share some of his garden with me this year, so that makes me feel better about it being so small.
