Like I said in another thread Shannon I'm praying.

I've just been so busy, actually I may be getting a bit burnt out. I haven't been able to write in ages, I'm barely keeping up with the social studies class I'm writing. Things have just been busy-right when I thought they would slow down. I think if I'd realized they wouldn't really slow down I wouldn't have taken on running VBS. Oh well I'll get through. I just feel tired and stressed all the time-my to do list gets longer faster than I check things off and I really just want to veg with a good book or movie.

I have one kid who goes through bad spells with behavior. This child will be good/normal for weeks but then will go through a phase of being terrible, disobeying everything, causing everyone else to get upset, and just being generally difficult. We are in one of those phases now and it absolutely wears me out. It is unpredictable how long it will last-it has been about a week now I think so hopefully things will change soon.

We are still waiting to find out where we will be going next. We are thinking about me and the kids moving back early-around Thanksgiving-if we can get the army to cooperate so we will see how that goes. In addition to everything else that means we have lots of cleaning and organizing to do.

Wow Sabrina you have been super busy. Hopefully you can get a moment to catch your breath and relax a minute. It's crazy how life can get so busy, but it reminds us of all the amazing things we can do!

Ladies, my grandma is in the hospital again. And to top it off, my dad took my grandpa in tonight. He has been having severe hip pain. The doctors want my grandma to be transported to an Indianapolis hospital to see a specialist about a procedure to separate her trachea and aorta, which fused together. It's highly risky, but her lack of air is not improving.

Also, our friend's baby, Baby Sawyer, was air lifted back to Indy today and isn't very well at all. Praises that he got to celebrate his first birthday.

My husband's step-mom, who has cirrhosis of the liver was, additionally, diagnosed with liver cancer last week. She has about 6 months and has been moved to the top of the transplant list. If, however, the cancer spreads at all, they feel there is no hope.

And finally, Matt (my husband) has been having severe back pain. I am scared for him.... He needs to find another job near the farm, but is so worried his back won't hold up to the rigors of proving himself in a new job.

Shannon - That's quite a lot going on right now. Keeping everyone in my thoughts and prayers.

Sabrina - Feeling burnt out is so tough. I've struggled with that this year myself, just quickly getting burnt out on all the different things I try to cram into my week. I hope you can find some veg time to relax soon! Fingers crossed for your move later this year.

Alicia - I am sorry to hear about your grandparents. You too have quite a few stressful things going on and I'll be keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

I am finally out of the city and am getting settled in with my in laws. I have a very nice office for working from home full time that has a ton of windows with lots of bushes and trees outside. The pace of life is just much slower than what I'm used to. I'm trying to move more and watch less tv, so far it's working! I'm working on getting caught up here now that things are settling down and I hope to start on my merit badges again soon, I just need to find my craft boxes first! I hope you're all having a good day and I'm happy to be back online again!

Prayers please!!! My grandmother is not well. She has been able to breathe well for longer than I care to think right now. She has been in out of the hospital for a couple of years. Sometimes spending as long 3 weeks trying to regulate her breathing in the hospital. About 15 years ago, her aorta "dissected", she had an aortic anerysim, that, fortunately only split inside and held up on the outside she she didn't bleed out. Over time and many concerns and scares, this has scarred over. The scar tissue has fused to her trachea and is the bulk of her breathing issues. The doctors have decided the best, and only, this to be done is take her to a specialist in Indy (by ambulance) to look at the possibility of getting these "unfused". It is highly risky. There is another large blood vessel in there, as well, and in the way. Currently, my dad and uncle are signing papers that any decisions that need made, they will have to agree upon and make. My grandfather is in the hospital, too, but being discharged today for severe pain in his hip. The doctors say it stems from his back and there isn't anymore they can do. I am terrified. Please PRAY!!!

Hi ladies! Sounds like things are rough for quite a few of us! Eli is doing quite poorly.. she is less than 11.5 pounds now! :( I found out I am allergic to milk, so I am hoping the dairy allergy is the cause! I am hoping to avoid a hospitalization, but am not positive it is going to happen :(

On a positive note, we have a house on base to live in until Brad is retired from the military :) So we will be out of this rental the end of the month. The two best parts are we get to stay as a family, and the military moves us... I don't have to pack any more :)

Alicia - praying for your family!!!!

Nicole - your place sounds lovely. I am looking forward to a calmer pace, myself!

Sabrina - gotta love the military... ;) Continuing to pray!

Krista - how is your little one???

Rachel - super sweet of you to offer Alicia the help!

Nicole- how is the new house and working from home going?

Shannon- sorry to hear of all your troubles. Just know I'm wishing for the best for you and your family. Thanks for asking! He is doing good. Getting so big. I can't keep up! He turns 6 months on Wednesday. Also he has learned to sit up and shows signs that crawling is in my near future. I am not ready for that! Better start baby proofing now. We have also discovered he loves to pet dogs and when they walk in the room he squeals! I love it! I will have to share an updated picture soon.

How is everyone else? Hopefully we can have some good luck in our group this week!

Hello Everyone - I read up on everyone...and I'm praying for you all!! Krista, would love to see updated pics soon :)

We had a great trip - it was wonderful to be back together as a family. We came home to an overgrown lawn, and garden beds that need weeding badly. I was surprised how everything grew so quickly - I had everything clean and cut when I left. Lots of work to do now, got some weeding done today, and finally finished up the massive amount of laundry from our trip. I even got two loaves of bed baked today. Now I shall go and teach piano soon, and tomorrow start all over again! I'm glad to be home and have all these things to do :)

Welcome back Joyce! How was Yellowstone? You sure seem busy since being back! It's crazy how fast everything grows. Hopefully you can catch back up soon.

My little man turns 6 months old today! Already a half a year. I will be taking a six month picture and share that with you guys!

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Welcome back, Joyce. I know how good it feels to be reunited with family, I'm so happy it was a good trip.

Krista - 6 months already! can't wait to see his six month picture

Shannon - I continue to keep you and your family in my thoughts. I hope you're able to find a calmer place too.

Working from home has been... weird. It's great, and I know I will adjust. I am so much more productive because I don't have coworkers to chat with, but that also makes it a bit lonely. I also feel like I have SO MUCH down time. I brought a book with me today (I try really hard to stay out of our bedroom during work hours) and may read a bit when I'm caught up in my tasks. I suspect we'll get a little busier this afternoon and I won't even need the book. I've been spending more time walking and being outdoors, less time in front of the tv. I'm even gardening more, which reminds me - We have a strange plant that is taking over part of the garden. It looks like the greens from carrots, so I'm wondering if it might be wild carrots? I dug one up today, but I bet it's way too early in the season for me to confirm. I'll keep you posted!

Nicole- I know how you feel! When I had my son we decide to have me be a stay at home mom. And since I was on bed rest a month before he came I have been home for 7 months. It's so weird not having coworkers to chat with and I find myself missing it at sometimes but then I get thinking and really don't miss the drama of working with others and wouldn't change being home with my son for anything. I bet you feel amazing now that you are getting out more. I don't know much about wild carrots so I'm not any help. I do have a couple carrots coming up in my garden but that's about all I know. Let me know what you find out.

What are you ladies getting or making for the dads in your life? Father's Day is coming up fast and I am super stumped on what "Tilton" should get his dad. For Mother's Day we made feet prints on tiles so I don't want to repeat that.

Hey everyone!

Alicia-I'm so sorry for all of that. Life really needs to just slow down and leave you alone for a while!!! Praying for you and your family.

Our EFMP stuff finally got processed last friday! Yay. Also it looks like we may be leaving here in November instead of Feb. Double Yay (that paperwork is still pending to be official). We are also still waiting to hear from branch (the folks who decide where we are going) but nothing will be official until that curtailment paperwork for us to leave early is signed. So we are still waiting but at least moving forward.

I'm trying to relax and take it easy as much as I can and just give myself a break. I still feel guilty but I am trying not to. Hubby gets leave in a week and will have almost two weeks off, I'm going to try to get some things done so I don't feel so stressed when he goes back to work. I'm also going to try to get some rest by sleeping in or taking a nap when I need to, hopefully that will help a bit too.

Nicole I think I missed why you switched to working at home but it sounds like you are adjusting ok. I think the social aspect of working is what I missed most when I started staying home. On the other hand I don't really like bosses lol so I am ok with it!!

Krista-I'm not making anything this year. I'm so behind on other crafts and with an upcoming move I've decided I won't be making Birthday or Christmas presents this year either. Honestly I hadn't even thought about father's day....I didn't get cards either...guess we better go get some this weekend.

Sabrina - I'm not sure I ever explained the entire story here. The beginning of 2015 my wife and I were in horrible jobs that were really taking advantage of us. So we decided to leave Chicago and move closer to our families in downstate Illinois. She got a retail job the exact same day I was contacted about this job. I almost didn't take the interview, but she urged me to since I had been so unhappy in my profession. I got the job, but it meant I had to stay in Chicago while she moved back home. Fast forward a little over a year and I was able to convince my company to let me work from home full time. This is week 2 and I'm still adjusting, but I'm much happier being with family than I was living alone in the city.
