Betty, sorry to hear you have been sick. I hope you feel better.

I learned of a new name for a season here this year. It is called Sticks Season. I guess the term has been in use for a while but I had not heard it.

I had my right foot operation. I now have pins in my big and second toes. This looks like a Franken-foot. <SHUTTER> I have pictures and am reluctant to post them. I cried when I first saw how it looked.

Oh Marie, I can’t imagine. I do hope recovery goes smoothly for you.

I learned a new idiom if that is the right term. Some one at my partner's work called someone else a "blister" It is someone who shows up after all the work is done.

Hope you are all well and have far more sunshine in your world than we do in ours. One day of sunshine in the last ten. But, we have made it through the ten coldest darkest weeks of the year and come out on the other side.

The pins were removed from my foot with very little pain. I was able to wear a shoe on my right foot for the first time in two months. In a year I will have the left foot fixed in a similar manner.

We have such puny amount of snow. It isn't even worth speaking about. The skies are gloomy and the air is not very cold. I have only worn my coat once.

I have lost enough weight that my rings don't fit anymore.

Holly I have known a few “blisters” in my day, lol, but never heard that term. Thanks for sharing.

Marie I am glad to hear your healing is going well. Hope it continues.

I think we all could attest to knowing a few blisters.

The sun has been hiding from us for over a week now and seems to not want to make an appearance until maybe the middle of this week. We shall see. We've had an excessive amount of rain over the last week. Everything is soggy here.

Marie glad to hear your healing is going well.

We have a cat room in our barn where we feed the barn cats. About four feet off the floor we have a cat door. the kind that swings in and out when pushed. We have free range chickens.

Two of the chickens have figured out that they can fly up and go through that door and eat the dry cat food. I get meow mix. it is four colors. The chickens eat the yellowish and brownish pieces and leave the other two colors in the dish.

How can an animal with a brain the size of a dried pea figure this out?

Lol. Maybe the different colors really do have different flavors!
