Marcy, I just think your fairy door is precious.

Peggy, your gumball machine is so cute. I hope you don't mind if I use it as inspiration for making my own.

Kathyn, I love, love, love your doily.

You ladies have such talent!

Peggy, your gumball machines are adorable. I'll have to try to make one, CJ. Also love your latest gma dotee, Peggy! So cute!

Kathryn, your doily is gorgeous! Didn't think anyone made them so elaborate anymore!

Jennifer, that is the sweetest apron...love the fabrics! Today I am finishing up yo-yo's for a swap.

Joan, I love the table! I am wanting to build a farmhouse style dining table for my house. I have the materials. Now, I just have to work up the confidence to get started.

Jennifer...I posted my farmtable for the diningroom a while ago. My husband also built it and then I painted/stained the table. If you want to check it out, I can post it again. I guess I will just do it lol. First photo is unfinished, second photo is the finished table.

Joan...love both the tables!!! Lucky you to have a Wood Working Husband!

Jennifer...adorable Apron!! Feel free to make all the Gumball Machines you want.
I got the idea from CJ. and just thought they were sooooooo cute myself.

Kathryn...your doily is so beautiful. I can no long crochet tiny stitches like that
but because I have done them and know how much work they take...I give you and Bunny
Kodo's for the labor intensiveness of your gorgeous work, both of you are so good!

OK...more later!
Hugs,
Peggy

Thanks, Joan and Peggy.

Joan, those tables are just beautiful. How are the legs attached to the bottom? Did you build a "box" that your tabletop sits on and the legs are attached to the box? Those specifics are what I haven't gotten my mind wrapped around.

Jennifer, I will take a pic of the underside of the farmtable for you to see how it was built. When my hubby gets home from work today I will ask for specifics about how he did it. I saw him build it but (I guess I wasn't paying attention lol) Will get back to you.

Wow! So many projects finished and underway. To everyone - love, love, love your work!

Today I am making record dishes . . .

and then sitting by the cozy fireplace to read a good book and sip hot tea.

Thank you ladies for the compliments on my doily,I love thread crochet,I just started actively crocheting and learning how to do doilies sometime around August,I was taught to crochet early by my Mother but never took to it until starting on some thread projects,my Mom always lamented that no one much crocheted with thread anymore and so I tried it and since taking to it she has swamped me with patterns, some quite old from the thirties and forties,I have more patterns and plans for making doilies than I will probably ever get done.
I am getting frustrated with the Wreath of Roses doily so am letting that one rest a little while in my workbasket.
The doily I have a picture of here is one I made some time ago,it's embroidered and then edged in crochet, the problem is that when I transferred it,the transfer was a half circle designed to be laid on the fold, well,I must have creased it too much because this doily now has a hard crease in the center that I cannot iron out,do you ladies know how to get a hard crease out of cotton muslin?
Bunny I love your crocheted flowers, they are beautiful, especially made in the multi-colors,they are stunning!
