Judith...beautiful! And perfect...Granny Squares for the Grandson! I have never done Granny Squares before but they always make up into "Happy" looking afgans.
I only have two more yoyo's to make for each girl. They have been good therapy while I am healing. YoYo Hearts are a fun thing to make anyday...one of those cheery crafts.

I made a little ATC holder for just one ATC/card similar to this one for the Valentine ATC swap. Decided I wanted one for me but thought I'd like more than one "holder" in mine.
Little vase, plaster of paris, dowel pieces, mini clothespins, a few small roses & leaves, a little bit of paint, ribbon, pearl-look buttons . . . . . .here is my one ATC holder. But it can be used for cards and/or photographs as well. CJ
P.S. The ATCs here are from a swap in a Yahoo group I participate in.

CJ...the first lid I bought for the "Gumball Machine" was way too large but I had already decorated it...so decided to make this cute craft pot...to hold some of my crafting supplies on my table. What do you think? I could seriously see making them in different sizes. I also thought it would make a cute cookie jar or dog treat jar.
I loved your ATC Holder. Very sweet!
Shelly...I also thought your Messanger Bag was stellar. That is very cool! Did you make it for yourself or do you sell them?

Lovely stuff ladies. We have all been busy. Re: Mitts Bunny and Breanna: I was trying to think about how to do a pattern and I think I can give you a couple of guide lines even if I don’t have a pattern. BTW I do a lot of ripping out! When you measure your hand for the foundation chain, fold you thumb under the chain needs to stretch enough to barely make it over your hand. Put your stitches into the bottom only of the stitch leaving the top part for the finishing edging. Whatever your foundation chain is, it should be a multiple of two or four. I always put the thumb opening where the join is. That way it is on the underside of the mitt. You will need to either tighten up your stitches to get the mitt to narrow past the thumb or use a size smaller needle. After I make both mitt bodies, I then turn to the bottom edging and do both mitts one after the other. The biggest deal is to keep the chain straight before you join it to start the body stitches. I really wasn’t trying to be obtuse I have been crocheting for many years and my grandma taught me but never showed me how to read a pattern, I don’t think she knew how. I had to learn that on my own.

Hey Peggy, That is cute! You could also spray paint the pot in a color that matches the decorations. And, for that application I would spray the inside as well. I've done that for some of my "pot projects". I spray the inside first, sometimes a different color and then turn it over and spray the outside. That way the paint edges along the rim look even . . relatively. And, I always use at least 2 coats of clear finish over everything, including the embellishments. CJ

I so love this board. Everyone is so creative. Thanks for sharing. I can't wait to see what all of my farm girl sisters are working on. Frannie, I am so glad to see that you are feeling well enough to work on your wonderful bunnies.

Peggy, I love the button "machine". What a wonderful idea. I'm sure your DIL will love it.
Cherime, my eyes are rolling back in my head. I think I will find directions for something similar and then adapt it to something lacy. I can read directions I can't read diagrams. I have been crocheting for years but pretty much teach myself too. My little flowers I have been making just get created on the fly so I understand. Here is what I'm working on now.
this is what I hope it will look like when I'm done. (this one is not mine)
Here is her website if you want to check it out. I always like to give credit when it's due. http://attic24.typepad.com/weblog/ I'm having so much fun making crochet flowers I just ordered a bunch of cotton yarn online. I can't wait. The colors are so bright and cheery. Here is my basket so far.
I'm almost done with my nephews quilt. I finally after having it for almost 2 years, pulled out the embroidery attachments to my sewing machine and am using it to quilt the borders on his quilt. It is a quilt as you go so I only have to deal with each border by itself and not the whole quilt.
I was thrilled to have 4 farmgirls order fabric off my website. Feeling very good today. I have decided I need to add more fabrics. I use to own a quilt shop and still have lots of fabrics on bolts. I guess I better get busy!

The craft pot it really cute. What a neat idea! I love the crochet flowers, too. I just love seeing what everyone is working on. I finished an apron for my partner in the apron swap. Now, I'm working on a little extra treat to send with the apron.

Well...I'm not altogether certain what it will be yet, but I had the most overpowering urge to make a red Irish crochet rose. I'm thinking of putting it on a green background and then working out from there--as soon as I figure out what it is! *laughs*

I saw these little fairy doors recently and wanted to try to make one for myself. It's hand sculpted and one of a kind. Oh, the clay is becoming addicting again.

I just finished this Gumball Machine for myself this morning. Instead of Buttons, I decided to put some of my Heart-Shaped YoYo's in it.
Marcy...I love, love, love your Fairy Door. I am going to buy one because I have the perfect tree to put one on...at our new house. But yours is way cuter than the one I saw. Would you consider making one to sell?
Love and hugs, peggy

Hi Peggy,
Thank you for the compliment. I really love working in the clay. I would love to make a Fairy Door for you. I'm not sure how much I would charge for one. I guess it all depends on how big you want it and how much work it will take me to make it. I'm also open to trade as well if you would rather do that. Let me know what colors and how big you would like it. The one's I make usually average around three or four inches. take care hugs Marcy

Marcy, I agree with Peggy. I love the fairy door! You do such a wonderful job. I could see a little one at the bottom of one of Peggy's button jars. Peggy, you could make it a little fairy house! I love seeing everyone's creations. Such fun!
