Another handbag on the drawing table...literally! I'm filing this one under the name, "Clockwork Linen".

I made my first diaper today! It's a "slot pocket" which I came up with so my husband's giant hands could actually stuff it :)

Here's a pic of front/back on the boy. It's totally huge. The next one will be smaller in the "small" setting. It's a larger scale one size. I think the next one should be much better :) Not too shabby for my second sewing project ever. I'm getting the hang of it :)

I love everything that is being posted. What beautiful work you all do.

I haven't been here too often, but the most recent project is crocheting thin dishcloths. I'll be back to post a photo when I have completed some.

I'm working on a few SCRAP projects and will post those later on my SCRAP blog. It may be a while before I do. We are once again suffering from allergies.

Hey girls..so I made a couple more birdhouses. I sell them for $12.00. So what I'm thinking is maybe starting a shop online. But the problem is all my products are made when ordered out of my home.I don't make anything in advance. Not sure how that will work. Any suggestions.

Hi Joan,

You can do all "Made to Order" on Etsy. Just post a photo of a sample, and folks can order from the display item, or request some customization.

You have all been soooooo busy I can hardly keep up with you! Beautiful ideas and items. Today I am finally sewing together granny squares for a UFO afghan. The color scheme is different shades of blue plus the same yarn Kim used in her mittens (on the left in her pic..very cool mitts btw). Then I want to crochet around the whole thing a couple of times. It will be good to have it finished. Tonight I will work more on heart yo-yo's for swap.

Cherime Love the wristlets. Do you have a pattern? I would love to give them a try. I'll have to start searching online to see what I can find. They are so elegant looking. Are you going to sell them at one of your craft shows?

So I decided to actually post my handcrafted quilt crane to see if it's good enough to be sold online. Solid pine wood that will last generations...a nice hand me down. Measurements are 18" long with a swing out arm that measures 30". Because it is custom made measurements will be slightly off (but not much). I sell them in my area for $125.00 but I am going to sell them online for only $80.00 including S&H. What do you all think?

Any color is available with a walnut or pecan stain over the paint.

Boy, oh boy! I'm getting anxious to get back to actual crative crafting! Today, standing on my head cleaning out our big chest type freezer . . . my goodness! It's amazing what you find in the bottom of those things! It's empty, defrosted and clean . . now to put back in what goes back in!
I'm certainly ready to be done with this freezer, butchering project . . yes, I'm grateful for the meat!

Bunny, no pattern, I just start and see how it goes. The real trick is to recall what I do so I can do the second one. ;>)
Joan, I love your woodwork. I do a lot of woodworking but it is mainly to finish my unfinished house that I inherited from my DH.
CeeJay, been there done the meat bit. Tell what, butchering out a moose is a major job. Nothing I want to do again.

I've been working on a hexagon lace scarf from MJ's Stitching room. I've only got 4 hexagons done, with 30 more to go, but I'm having fun! :-)

Cherime, I love those fingerless lace gloves!!! I have been looking for a pattern for those for ages! Did you make up your pattern? Or did you find it somewhere? I would love to make some of my own. A friend of mine is hosting a Pride and Prejudice tea party next month and those would go perfectly :-)

Sorry ladies on the lace wristlets no pattern. I make a chain, join it and work from there with my hand as a pattern. I make them larger or smaller from there.

I have an exam today that I need to keep studying for. When I get home I am going to get a loaf of banana bread in the oven and then I am going to get to work on my messenger bag. Hoping to finish it today! I will post pics when it is done.

Wow, You have all been busy beavers. I've worked a little on my sister's shawl but not much else. Been busy with work and around the house with the little one and reading up on sign language for him.

I made this for my DIL's birthday. It is a Button Holder (Thanks CJ for the pattern)

I fancied up this Bulletin Board with YOYO Hearts that I have swapped for and then hung
up My Dotee Dolls from Swaps on it and hung it in my craft nook.

And These are all the Dotee Dolls I have been making for swaps. So, see girls...I have been busy.

I love looking at everyone's work...so inspiring to me! Thanks for letting me share.

Live Loved,
peggy

Just finished the UFO afghan (blues/green&yellow mix). Yay! Last night my one and only 18 yr. old GS asked if he could have it. Surprise.. but..Yay, again! Now, back to yo-yo's.
