OH I love the patch work and the doily! They are so beautiful. Still working on my grand son's quilt.

I love the tatted doily. Not too many folks use them these days--but I do. I rescued many from my mother's house before my dear brother could toss them in the trash. He went through her things like a house afire. He even threw out some of my stuff!

Karieann... Your tatting is Magnificent and I am sure that your Grandmother will appreciate
the beauty of it and the fact that it is almost a lost Art. Good for you! Gorgeous!
Juanita...I was just thinking yesterday that I had NOT seen you post anywhere for awhile. How are
you doing Girlfriend? Besides the frustrating stuff with both your water systems (the bladder and the fitting) LOL
Betty...I am with you farmgirl...I love doilies and I have them all over my house, so does my sister! I
even look for them at Antique Stores.
I am going to go work on a nap right now and then I will do some needle work later when my Crafting
Group Meets.

Once my fingers warm up from being out watering the animals, I'm going to start in on Christmas ornies! Little gingerbread folk, mittens, hearts, etc. for my home spun Christmas tree =)

Karla...mittens or gloves? Knit or crocheted?
I started working on some "Star" Christmas Ornaments last night. Some of us here at
the Sr. Complex like to give everybody a little something-something for each Holiday.
These are made out of yarn and plastic canvas...but look like quilted stars when you
finish.

thanks to everyone for the sweet comments about my apron. it is a maryjane pattern that i sent off for over a year ago. since i made it i havent stopped wearing it!
i love this post and the chance to check in on everyones work.
i am always so impressed with everything everyone makes.
i have to agree with everyone that karrieann's tatting is beautiful. i have tried several times to tat and i get so far and then it seems like a big mystery to me. i think karrieann is a tatting genius. so pretty.

For two days I have been working on Christmas Ornaments while I lay in bed (Fibro Pain)
and then I also started my Christmas Cupcake Pincushion for a swap and has to have a cup
cake ornament with it. I made the cutest little Bead Snowman and Little Christmas Tree &
two wrapped Christmas Presents all for the Top of the Big Pincushion. They are so cute!
Hope they fit on the Pincushion. I made them first and so may just have to make a Jumbo
cupcake. LOL
