Your jacket is great. I think that you are correct about being a visual learner. My exH taught me to knit one day when he was sick with a couple of pieces of coat hanger and some twine. Once I got the knit and pearl I was fine.
Well off to the plumbing situation. Finished my coffee and so its out to the garage. It's around 40 degrees this am and spitting rain. I do hate working outside when its raining.

Karrieann, those are so pretty!
Today I'm going to work on a blanket I started ages ago! I also need to start some things for Christmas, like the million scarves I want to make!

Today I wrote a devotional on Risking Love...
From there I will probably work on a Shawl and a washcloth.

We are just taking it easy for the Holiday Weekend. No Laboring
just relaxing and unwinding. Feels good!

Working on knitting a blanket. The last one took me like two years to complete, I'm a very slow knitter and every now and then life just gets in the way. Hoping this one is done in time to use it this winter!

Just finished another apron for one of my daughter's bridesmaids and college friend. She loved it! On to the next project--a meditation cushion for my sister. Dianne

Hi, everyone..

Just moved from Texas to central Maryland
due to job relocation. Glad to hear that everyone
is still here. Been really busy with my childs new
school and of course all the unboxing.

It's nice to read what everyone is working on.

Zoed...First off WELCOME! Secondly if you go on the General Forums you will find a Farmgirls
Swap Page. We just finished A Halloween Goody Bag Swap. I have just started a Stuffed Christmas Stocking
Swap and we are still in the sign-up stage. So, go check it out! Swaps are a lot of fun to be
involved in. But for myself...I really pick and choose the ones that appeal to me. You could drive
yourself crazy if you did too many of them at once. LOL

Blessings,
~peggy

Hi Girlfriends, Im not working on anything today, feeling alittle under the weather, some bug I guess. Speaking of weather, we are getting some much needed rain, Thank you Lord for that.

Last week I put some tomatoes in the freezer for soup and stuff this winter, comes in handy too. I will be starting some Christmas things soon. I like to go to the thrift stores and find small baskets and then I bleach them to dissinfect, and make Bread cloths and put my Jellies and relishes in for gifts. For my family close by I make rolls too. They are nice and they like them.

I want to plant some garlic. Should have done it yesterday, with the rain and all, would have gotten a good start. I will put some more cucumbers in hoping that we can have some more before frost. We found a volunteer Tomatoe plant and Charlie put it in the garden and have some little green ones on it, Maybe just maybe we will get a few more before the cold weather. I don't know.taking chances.

Well girlfriends have a nice day and get some rest too.

Peggy, did you get the pic in the mail yet? If you have any unwanted critters in the house just put it where they can see it.LOL
Love ya Girlfriends, Hugs, Juanita Sister #1020

I am working on a cross-stitch Christmas ornament for my grandson. I make one for each grandchild, and he will be almost two this x-mas and I have not finished it yet, but I will! He will never know it took me so long!

Juanita...Yes, your picture just came yesterday. Thank you so much...you look exactly like I pictured
you in my head (isn't that crazy?). That never happens for me. Usually people look so different
than I imagined them. I am glad that your hubby cut off your body and not your head! LOL
You are just adorable and so sweet looking! Thank You! And thanks for the note!

Lillian...lucky girl getting to go traveling for a month! How fun is that???? I will be gone for 8 days this
month and I am giddy as a school girl about it. I rarely go anywhere with having Fibro.

Jeannie...Well, girl cross stitch takes awhile and some projects longer than others...but it is a neat
tradition that you started.

I am still plugging along on several Knitting projects. One shawl design I am working on is really cool looking but is taking 10 times longer than the designs I usually use. But you know how you are just dying to try a new pattern and nothing will do until you actually get it going. That's me!

Have a Lovely Rest of the Lord's Day!

Blessings,
~Peggy

Hey Jill...do you make Goats Milk Soap? If you do, do you
scent it or does it naturally smell sweet? I bought some at
an Antique Shop in Portland OR and it smells ssssssssssssoooooooo
good! But there is no fragrance listed on the label.

Hugs,
~peggy

I participated in the cornucopia crochet-along and finished that. I am hooked on amigurumi and have started a mobile for a forthcoming great grandson. So far I have done a teddy bear, chick, pig, and fish. I will hang them from a large ring with ribbon and make something to attach that to the crib.

It is so inspiring to hear what everyone is doing.

When I want to do a quick little project, I pull out my scraps and make a mini~patchwork. It still takes a day or two to finish, but I feel like I've really accomplished something. The squares on this "sampler" quilt are just two inches x two inches. I will probably back this with a border print and frame it.

If I can figure out how to do it I have a couple of pix of the kitchen I put together. I did all the woodwork in it including the pot rack and hood over the stove. How did you get those pictures into the post?
