Very pretty. It probably wouldn't have worked too well with mine as they were mostly whitework embroidery that wouldn't show up well like the colored embroidery.

Love the quilt. I'm attempting my first full size one this year for Christmas.

Here's some aprons I finished so far.

This one is for my niece. We make cookies together almost everytime she is here. I'm going to put together a recipe book for her and some cookie cutters too.

This one was supposed to be for my sister in law, but I REALLY like it. And you can't ever have too many aprons so....not sure who will end up with it.

I have the fabric picked out for a couple more. Just need a few more hours in the day LOL!

Those aprons are cute, Heather. Is the squares one a one-piece fabric or squares sewn together?

Nice quilt, Vanessa.

Heather, I love your aprons. I had never heard of Apronology but googled it and this is what it says

Apronology has been retired, but you can still pick up back issues starting from $9.99. We have absolutely loved producing this magazine over the years and appreciate your continued support.

Apronology came up under pinterest also.

Wow! love those aprons. Makes me want to get busy making some. To many projects already started, guess I'll wait till things calm down or I finish my quilt...LOL

Theresa -- Thank you for looking that up. It was a fun magazine, if kind of pricey. Sorry to see it go.

Beautiful blanket Vanessa. It looks so warm and snugly.

Heather, those aprons are SO CUTE!! There is just something so wonderful about Christmas fabric. Could you make another one so you both can have an apron? I bet you could even sell a couple of those too!

OK,, 1 more quilt.. and No, I have not finished the last pillow case yet...lol!

it's a tad hard to see.. but this one is in the harvest gold & brown colors from the Maryjane fabric line..

it's 42x72",, perfect for the recliner chair that my DH, dog and kat commander! lol!
I bought the backing fabric today,, it matches the golden yellow in the fabric perfectly!
Then maybe I will get around to finishing up the last pillow case...lol!
Oh and notice the red/green Christmas fabric underneath?, yep, that would be the Christmas quilt (from 2 years ago) that needs to be finished!

I always seem to find a reason not to get something done...

Grace, I like those colors together. They remind me of sunflowers and the start to fall. Are you making this one so you can claim your pink and green quilt back?! Lol

I finished one of my boys fleece tie blankets! Finally one Christmas present down whoop whoop!! I'm getting close to finishing my daughters and will be starting my onther sons blanket tomorrow. One step at a time right?

Grace - do you sleep? LOL!!! I'm not usually a big brown fan, but your quilt looks great!

Linda - that is just the design on the fabric. Maybe once I'm finished will all my Christmas projects I'll make a scrappy apron for myself with the left over fabric.

Krista - I wish I could make another of the gingerbread aprons, but I don't have enough fabric. I'm making do with what I have this year so I'm coming up with projects based on what fabric I have. I have 2 others picked out to make that I think will be really pretty too so it's hard to say who will end up with which one LOL!!!

Heather, I'm with ya girl. Trying to use up supplies I have. I got a reality check a while back when my adult daughter made this remark "Mom, please don't die before me, as I will have to go through all this stuff in your craft room!" LOL. The only items I now buy is if I am working on a project and need some LITTLE thing to finish the project. ie. thread, zipper, buttons. Trying hard to use up what I have.

Heather, that totally makes sense. My yarn stash is like that and could really be used for some projects to clear out a bit. I'm excited to see what else you make up!

This last weekend I worked a lot on my projects! I finished one of the blankets for my boys, started the other ones, and finished all but the border of my daughters blanket. I even worked on my MILs diamond painting and got about 1/4 done on it. I pulled some late nights and worked while my kids were sleeping, but it feels so great to get that much closer to finishing. Today I will finish the second blanket and start on my nephews hat.

my soon to be new curtains in my sewing room,, I will line them in a Tan color...

future neck scarves for my 2 grand-girlies,, and the Unicorn x-stitch is for one of them, I made a lil apron for the other, using the same (remaining) fabric from the tiny rose print searsucker fabric.

Grace, I love the tea time fabric. It reminds me of Beauty and the Beast. I can't wait to see them done. And that unicorn cross stitch is just like the ones I was talking about in the other thread. She is going to love it. Thinking about that, did you get my email Grace? I emailed you last week.

These are the tie blankets I finished for my boys.
This one is Stryders and it's made from the new Pure Plush Fleece! I LOVE this fabric. I'm going to make me one in this same kind. It's so soft!

This one is Tiltons. It's just normal fleece and has the Harry Potter design. He loves Harry Potter just as much as me lol
