I haven't worked on any of my crafts this week and I feel so behind. My sewing machine stopped working on Tuesday after I only got 2 things stitched up. My dad currently has it and is fixing it. After I put the boys to bed tonight I am going to work on some wood crafts. Jumping back in the game!

So many cool projects! Grace, love the quilt blocks. I keep thinking I'd like to try some quilting, but not sure where to start. Also, have too many other projects to do. Finally finished my hoodie. It's not perfect, but I'm happy with it. We're going to GA to see our kids & grandkids next week. Can't wait!! I'll need something warm LOL

Judy, your Hoodie turned out great...
I finished up a sweatshirt for my mother,, has my grandkiddos 'hand print' on the sweatshirt, I used puffy paint to write their names, and then ironed on some rhinestones.
I slit open the sweatshirt, and covered the raw edges with binding and then stitched on snaps.
Revamping sweatshirts is fun...

Judy,, here ya go.. super easy peasy...

normally I would go ape-snot crazy on blinging up the sweat shirt.. but since my mom will be wearing it at the rehab facility, I wanted it to be comfortable for her.

I finally got around to some wood painting. It's still not finished, but it's off to a good start! On the bright side, I'll have this one done before Christmas of this year!

I finished sewing up 2 rice bags, but ran out of rice for my other 2. Once I get some more rice I will be able to finish them up and have one more thing off my UFO list.

Oh Krista,, I use to make those too.. I used pearl rice and lavender buds in mine so when I would put the bags in the microwave to warm up (aprx 20sec +/- ) they were wonderful to uses especially during the Winter when my neck needed a bit of warmth.
btw,,, I like your cute fabric..

Grace, I never thought of adding lavender buds. That's a great idea. Do they last very long? Or does the smell stop working after so many uses? These rice bags are for my husband. He gets some bad neck pain and wanted ones specifically for his neck. The next two are for me. They are bigger!

I've been making quilt blocks for a Facebook swap. Every year Martha has another swap. Everyone who joins in makes 30 blocks (or a multiple of 30 you can make 60, 90, etc. LOL!) of the specified pattern. There are some rules as to colors to use, 100% cotton fabrics, etc. All 30 can be the same or different. You send them to her with a SASE and you will get back 30 different blocks. This year's blocks are 4 simple house blocks that make a larger block and we make 30 of the larger block. They are pretty easy - I've made 18 of the larger blocks, only need 12 more. Yes, it means 120 of the smaller house blocks to make the 30 larger blocks, but they go fast when done assembly line fashion.

Krista... I have used mine quit a bit... The lavender scent does eventually lessen,, so I just spritz it with some lavender EO.
I have seen these bags filled with Flax seed as well...
but I like good old fashioned rice & lavender.

I decided to make some "cookie" ornaments for my little tree from the cookie cutters my Mom used to make us Easter sugar cookies as a child. I put some batting between the two layers to give them a little depth. They turned out kinda cute and were very easy. I like simple and easy!! LOL!!
