This was a finish I had over the weekend! I think I will make it into a flat-fold

I also worked on some greeting cards and started another stitching project. I had planned to look into starting a nightgown but time vanished and now I get to go to my big-girl job. But I guess I need $$ to spend on my hobbies, LOL!

Today I am taking a "ME" day (personal day) from work.
So I am working on Herbert the gardening rabbit!
Hoping to maybe get him done today!
In my fav chair, mug o coffee on the mat, watching the birds, listening to classical music and stitching. If only all days could be like this! A gal can dream :) The only missing is Mr.Sunshine.

Bridge,

I'm so glad you took a me day! Women too often neglect this vital need.

I can't wait to see Herbert the gardening rabbit when he is done.

Today i purchased material for the sweet seasons swap - i plan to start making something for the summer swap soon :-)

This past weekend i finished a baby quilt for a silent auction at our homeschool group. I love how soft it is and i really enjoyed working with pink - i have 4 boys and there''s not alot of pink around our house!

I also finished a small wall hanging to match my place mats. Any suggestions on how i should hang it? I thought of getting it framed, but that will be expensive i'm guessing.

I'm so thankful there is a place where we can celebrate our work!

Happy crafting/sewing :-)

Dena - beautiful baby quilt those colors are so cheerful! The hanging is gorgeous, maybe a dowel stained with beads on the ends .
Herbert is complete tada....,
Tomorrow I will start on his girlfriend, I haven't decided on her name yet.

Thanks Bridge and Christine.

Bridge, i can't believe how quickly you finished Herbert! My needle work always seems to go so slowly. He looks great! Can't wait to see his mate :-). How are you going to display them?

A dowel rod may be a good idea; thanks, i'll give it a try.

Stayed home today feeling under the weather. I can't sit around even when not feeling well. A while back a co-worker brought in a scrubby she received from a friend. She wanted to know if I could look at it and reproduce it. I looked up how to make them on You Tube. I had bought the tule a while ago. My co-worker had asked me a few times if I had started and I had to say no. Well today seemed like a good time to start. Made all five of them today. They are very simple and fun to make.

Nice job, Rachel.

Nancy, your scrubbies turned out great! I like the bright colors and I bet your co-worker is going to be super excited! They are on my list of things to make someday.

Nancy, Nice scrubbies, hope you get to feeling better. I had forgotten these, I made them in the past and they do work really good.

Rachel, your sweater will be done before you know it. I like that color :)

I think Herbert's girlfriend will make her debut this evening, she just needs half a head. She told me her name last night while we worked on her basket, her name is Hannah.
