Made this awning border for the rock guard/window cover on our glamper trailer this week. Wanted something "sweeter" and more attractive to help "girlify" it up!
Battenburg lace, super muslin, sew-on Velcro, Liquid Nails exterior construction adhesive for metal and my sewing machine!
I'm very happy with the result!

Was feeling achy and not too well today so sat down for quite awhile and worked up these mare and foal towels.

So I'm getting a raffle basket together with the theme "doggie bag".
I traced dog silhouettes from my computer screen, then filled them in with paint.

It is only one bag - I painted on both sides. I got 2 doggie themed books and will find some wine with a dog on the label, duct tape with dogs on it, and dog stickers. It's for a raffle and booze is a big draw for this group.
The brush slipped when I was painting the Great Date so I had to add another leg so he wouldn't look excited.

Not working on anything today after hospital stay. Just wanted to share that a friend and her mother have gifted me with her mothers pvc quilting frame and her unfinished Dresden Plate quilt. I'm so excited about both of them. Friend's mom has made oodles of quilts and does only hand quilting. I hope I'll be up to it!

So many cute projects! I just started crocheting a scarf, hat, and glove set for my oldest son. Have to start getting ready for Winter in Summer. LOL! All about preparedness. After his, I have another boy and then a girl set to do. Hubby never decides what he wants until after he has frozen a couple of days. ;)
Keep up the good work, ladies!

Your doily is beautiful. I have not challenged myself to knit a doily. Is it easy?

Hi Girls...I haven't been on here for a long time because I haven't really done anything worth
sharing for awhile. Though I do lurk on occasion to see what the rest of you are doing.

I just finished my First Ever Granny Square Afghan. I started it two years ago...did the 144 squares
in 3 or 4 weeks...but once I started putting them together...I didn't like that part. It was boring.
So, I shoved it in my closet for two years...and I just took it out a week and a half ago, determined
to finish it. I always finish what I start and this was my longest stall to date on any project. LOL

Spread out on my Dining Room Table

Fold and Displayed on a Chair in my Living Room!

I feel such a sense of accomplishment...now, I need to go finish my Grandson's Irish Santa Christmas
Stocking. Another project I started 7 months ago and didn't find it as much fun as I remembered from
years Past. But he will get it this Christmas...I'm determined.

Love and hugs,
Peggy

This is a tote bag I decorated for June Mail Art. I modelled it after a chair on my back porch.

HI Peggy, I knew I haven't seen you on a while, Now I know what you have been up to. The afghan is really pretty. It does take long time to do all that work.

Denise the tote bag is great and so pretty. We have a lot of talented farm girls on here.

I haven't been doing a lot, I have made some aprons for a few Birthdays and I have been doing some dish cloths, just odds and ends. I soon have to think about Christmas sewing. Have some projects cut out and ready to sew.
My Husband Charlie has been quite ill and we have spent a lot of time at the Dr. He seems to be giving up some what.
Remember us in your prayers, Please. Hugs Juanita Farm sister #1020

Oh I love everyone's work! Just the inspiration I need! Looking through my craft books I came across MaryJane's Stitching Room. She has nice easy instructions for a crocheted rug and I have a bag of fabric strips inherited from my grandma, so here goes:

My soul magnifies the Lord, And my spirit rejoices in God my Savior. Luke 1:46,47
