I am still knitting and crocheting hats, scarves, fingerless gloves, mittens, etc. for a craft show in November. I have storage bins filled with items. I keep my fingers going constantly. Just finished some flip flops for my Etsy store.

What cute flip flops. Are they hard to make?
I've been doing a temp job for the company I retired from so not much getting done at home. This is my last week so hope to get back to the iron caddy I'm working on.
I've missed being able to read all the great stuff going on here at Mary Janes but will be back at it soon.

Great projects here,Grace I love your aprons and other items made from repurposed materials, you do beautiful work and I'm sure will inspire others to do the same. The flip flops are really cute! I have been crocheting a rose Irish crochet doily, not near done yet but I took a break from it and made another redwork chicken apron for my Etsy shop,I started it yesterday and finished it up this morning. It turned out cute and I'm tempted to keep it but I went ahead and listed it,I can always make another one. My Daughter Raven is starting to get a little put out doing all of my apron modeling,it's about time I started looking for a dress form!

I'm leaving shortly to pick donut peaches. I think I will pick enough to freeze also and maybe a peach pie. That will take quite a bit of work because the peaches are relatively small. Maybe a cobbler would be better.
My tomatoes aren't doing well either. I had them out on time, but I think some have been attacked by wilt. Then the weather has been cool and warm, cool and extra hot. They probably don't know what to make of it. I remember living in Portland, OR one year in the 60's and my tomatoes did not even ripen because it was so cool and wet.

Just finished making some canning jar solar lights for my herb garden.
I love the pattern it leaves on the concrete

Flip flops, canning jars, and aprons ohh my! Everyone is doing so many wonderful things.
Last week was my sons Baptism at my church, here are the cakes
My older son's Birthday cake for his second birthday
I made my son this quilt for his birthday
Still in a quilting mood I finished this.
I might start to tackle a T-shirt Quilt for my husband, this is being done rag style so it should go quick.

Oh my! I have never met a more energetic and talented group of people. I have way to many ideas to ever complete them all in my lifetime. You all are such an inspiration to me.
I am getting the knitting, crocheting and x-stitching bug again. Just finished several classes at the local quilt shop and have many beautiful projects going on the sewing machine.
Emily, your quilts and cakes are beautiful. I don't know how you do it with little people to care for, but keep up the good work.
Blessings,
Las Vegas Jean |

I'm peeling donut peaches for freezing--little single servings just for me. And, I'm just about finished. Peaches will be coming next and also nectarines. I have borders to put on a friendship quilt that I have had around since 2000 and hope to get the top done this week.

Well, you girls have just kept yourselves creatively busy . . .WOW!!! I've been trying to catch up after being gone for a month . . . on a Glamping Road Trip with my daughter!
BUT, once I got back I've been up and over my ears in sewing aprons. Getting ready for Farmers Market and missed the entire month of June! Apron orders like crazy and I had to miss market yesterday because sales have been so good that my inventory was so low. This week, this apronista's gotta sew, sew, sew!!!!
This is a pile of 15 aprons, all alike, a custom order for a local womens organization called the Southwest Cowbelles. Red apron body with row of cow fabric divided into 4 pockets and with polka dotted ties. CJ
