(the sound of the screen door slapping gently in the background....) Hi, Julie! Glad you could join us. Aren't Alee's pancakes the best? Channah, quit drooling over Julie's plate and go in and get yourself some more. She always cooks plenty! Bonnie, that is a DREAM necklace!!! I love it! Did you make it? Bear5, you want vanilla ice cream on that brownie? Homemade chocolate fudge or caramel sauce? Hey, Nan! You got any dog treats in your bag of goodies? Julie's babies here look like they need to be spoiled, along with the rest of us!!!!! Ah. I just love this porch. And it just keeps getting better!!!!!

HELLO!
Where are y'all?????????? You mean to tell me that I came all the way from the swamp in Louisiana and no one is on the porch. What's happened? I'll sit here for a while. Twittle my thumbs, etc...

Hi ladies!

Still not spilling the beans on my maybe-possibly-good news yet but I will tell you that the first two steps of a four step process are completed successfully! Hopefully by the end of this next week I will be able to tell you all! :D

Brownies for breakfast? Now, that's my kind of meal!!! A big cup of coffee to go with it would make the meal complete. I hope everyone is snug and warm out here on the porch this morning. Can't believe we all sat up and talked all night and I don't feel a bit tired.

Sounds like some news is coming on the porch. Can't wait to hear it! Tonight is clear and cool and the breeze sounds so good through the trees. Sitting on the porch and thinking of you all - have some chocolate chip cookies and last night's cider waiting! Bring your quilt throw for draping over your legs on the rockers!

Oh, gosh, I am regretting missing the french toast. But I will settle in here and see what other goodies come along. I sure would like more of the ghost stories.

Well darn. Step three is put off until Friday. The gal that is part of step 3 was sick today. Gosh I must be driving you all nuts! Sorry! But I can promise that if everything goes the way I hope it would be life-changing for our family in a very awesome and good way! :D

Tammy, I made some fresh Lemon Curd -- I'll put it on the table for anyone who wants to put a dollop on their scones. Yours are delicious! Alee, the suspense is killing me, but I'm being patient. And still praying. Whatever it is, girl, you deserve something wonderful!!!!! Speaking of French toast, I found a recipe in a magazine for baked blackberry french toast. If I make some, anyone game to be my guinea pig?
