For the Expert level of Classic Casseroles, I made a breakfast casserole of homemade hash browns and pork sausages. I made a lunch casserole of 3 cheese macaroni with beef hot dogs. I made a dinner casserole of ham and noodles and for the dessert casserole I made a peach cooler dump cake casserole. The recipie for the ham bake casserole is
2 cups wide noodles pre cooked, set aside In a skillet: 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper 2 cups sour cream 2 1/2 cups milk 2 TBS butter Chopped celery, onion, bell pepper add as much as you like. I did about 1/2 cup each. Bring to a boil, then add some flour to thicken it, about 1/4 cup. Stir in your noodles, Add 4 cups chopped ham.
Pour all into a 9x13 casserole dish. You can add some bread crumbs on top for a crust. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

Great recipes Candy, thank you for sharing them. I make breakfast casseroles for my family on holidays. I'm always on the lookout for one.

Here is my favorite casserole recipe that I created for this badge: Sweet Potato Casserole
3 c. peeled, cooked and mashed sweet potato 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. maple syrup 1/3 c. butter, melted 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 1/4 c. half and half
Mix all ingredients together and then beat with an electric mixer until smooth. Pour into a greased casserole dish. Top with 2/3 cup brown sugar and 1 c. chopped, toasted walnuts. Bake at 325 for 25-30 minutes. The sweet potato casserole is pictured in the upper left hand corner. I love this dish! I actually ate some for breakfast!
