| I saw a couple of weeks ago, a copy of the premeire issue on ebay!! The last bid I saw was 60 bucks!! Whoa- the proceeds were going to a good cause tho- Heifer International! |

Hi,
I'm new to this posting business, but in a search on google for "Mary Janes Farm Premier issue" was prompted to this site. Is it too late to get in on the swap? If I can get in on it I'd love to see the premier issue. I love everything that comes from Mary Janes Farm! I too would be willing to pay MUCH more than the regular cost of an issue, if she would decide to reissue the premier copy, as it is the only one not in my collection.... any chances of that happening??
If I can get into the swap, please advise and I'll forward my info.

Yay! I am glad it got there Sunshine!  Yes- Please feel free to enjoy it for a week and then put in the mail back to MaryJanesFarm. I hope you get a chance to sit down and relax with it! I know your life is pretty hectic right now. But that is kind of normal for you isn't it? It seems like you always keep yourself pretty busy! I don't know where you get your energy and pluck from, Sunshine- but if you could bottle it- you would be a billionaire!

Girls, I was just online looking for Mary Janes premier issue and guess what I found, a site where you can buy an autographed copy for $400.00, has anyone else seen this?? Maybe Mary Jane should see this site and that would help her make the decession to reissue for all of us who would like to have it for our collections, without being taken advantage of. This is the site where it is for sale.

While MaryJane understands and is flattered by so many of us farmgirls wanting a reprint of the first issue- it just isn't going to happen at this point. Each magazine is a one-time only printing due to the prohibitive costs of printing the magazine. Each magazine issue takes months and months to produce, and printing costs alone are almost $100,000. And remember, she has been doing this all with out ads. And the $100,000 is just for printing costs- not labor or salaries for those who contribute or anything.
So thank you so much for your compliment to the Farm and to MaryJane herself. But if you would like to see the Premiere Issue, please sign up for the pass around. That way at least you will get to see it and it comes along with a journal so you can see what other people thought of it.
