So here’s the thing, I love my afternoontea time, which is usually around 2 PM. Whether it’s a teabag in a mug, or a long steep tea drank out of a sweet tea cup… It works for me. Sometimes I can find a cookie, sweet biscuit, or leftover pumpkin cake… And sometimes all I have are crackers and peanut butter… But the importance of the teatime is to make me stop and slow down and breathe and then get ready for the latter part of the day. It’s a lovely ritual to have. I’ve been using my coffee press through the winter to make my tea. Whether I use teabags, loose tea, or in this case T-ball flowers it all works out well and gives me a perfect amount of tea. But on really cold days I do use a thermal carafe. To keep the tea warm longer. Anyway, I now have two coffee presses, one strictly for tea and the other strictly for coffee that way I don’t get taste residue overlapping.
I made the Carafe cozy to keep my tea warm.
“ When this you see, think of me and we shall share a cup of tea “..

Well, it’s a bit early today, and both hubby and I are on diet, we’re skipping lunch so I thought I would have my tea a little bit early and cheat and have a slightly larger wedge of pumpkin cake. But don’t tell my husband! Lol!

Love this, Grace! I also make my tea in a press (although I've never tried those beautiful flowers!) but I never thought to make a cozy for it. Seems like a great stash busting project. I bet one is never enough though. I'm seeing seasonal fabrics on mine LOL!

I love the cozy, Grace! :)
John and I have tea/coffee in the evenings before bed. My tea is caffiene free so I can still sleep! :)

Grace, your cozy is a great idea! And your tea looks amazing! I think I will go make me some right now.

Grace , what a clever way to make a tea cozy for the different shape of your coffee press! Pink and lime green have always been favorite color combinations fort me.

FYI,, the fabric is from MaryJane's Moda design, from years ago.
The tea flower blossoms in the tin can be purchased on-line from amazon. look up 'Tea Bloom'
