Hi, my name is Angie. I am from Western NY, via England. This is my first time in a forum! I hope I do not break any 'rules'! Please keep me in line! I love to knit, sew, read & garden and look forward to connecting with all you great ladies!! I do not know where to begin! Maybe one of these days I will figure out how to use one of those cute faces that I see! Big step for me! TTFN Angie.

Hi Angie...I think you'll enjoy the friendly atmosphere here, I know I do. An abundance of information, friendly conversation, and I have found through some of the forums some good giggles. Lots of things to join...I tried the mail art, but you'll find many swaps and fun activities. Welcome and Enjoy. Jamie

Hi Angie!
What part of England do you originally come from? I have a very good friend here in town that is from England- I just adore her accent!
Can't wait to get to know you better :)

Alee, thank-you for your welcome. Let me know if this is the right way to reply! I am losing sleep over this! I am originally from Shropshire which is on the border of England & Wales (sheep country) but spent most of my first 20 years in Northampton.

Hi Britchickny-
You are doing great! Don't lose sleep over it! We are a pretty easy going bunch. My friend has lived all over England but mostly in Devon. She got me hooked on putting milk in my morning tea ;)

So, if I do a 'quick reply' I am replying to you all, right? What if I want to send a specific reply to an individual?

Hi, Angie! Welcome to the forum - and don't worry a bit about the "whats and hows" of things here - you'll catch on quick and we ALL understand!!! If you do a "quick reply," you are replying to the forum - and if you do a "reply to topic," it's just easier to add photos or "smileys." You can also click on a person's name to send them an e-mail directly - or if you just want to address a specific post to someone, just start it with their name or a greeting to them...and be sure to ask questions! We're all happy to help.
So glad to have you!!!
XOXO, Libbie

Welcome, Angie! I am a New Yorker, too, but east side. Went to England, Ireland and Wales 2 years ago...lovely country, but wet! :-)

Kelly, that's why it is sooo green over there! But yes, after a while the novelty wears off! That's not why I left. I married a GI, his name is Joe, so yes, I married GI Joe!
