Thought I'd better introduce myself. I live in beautiful SW Wyoming on a 1 acre mini farm with chickens, rabbits, 4-H lambs, two black labs, a mighty pomerian, a very fat cat, a few fish, two teenagers and a very dear husband of 26 years. I work as an office manager for a gas production plant. My daughter is getting ready to fly from the nest in a few months. My son is a freshman and is 6' 3". He plays basketball, so we spend alot of time traveling to his games. I have started a Wyoming chapter of Farmgirls and invite all from Wyoming to join us. Even if you don't live in Wyoming, but just love the state, we would welcome you! Just contact me and I will get you signed up.

Welcome, Sherone! I have experienced a coop-flyer already this year, and it is not as bad as I thought it would be. Another will follow this summer, leaving my dh and I with one at home who will not get to fledge. You have surely stuffed your one acre with lots of farmgirl happiness!! Glad you're here. :)

My Dad was born in Thermopolis. Actually, Kirby, which was and probably still is just a wide spot in the road along the river. I remember visiting a great aunt in Ten Sleep as a child. Will have to get out the family history to refresh my memory, but think she was a schoolteacher many years ago. Still have cousins in Casper I haven't seen in nearly 50 years. Bigger the world is, the smaller is becomes when you get to know people. Welcome to the group. Ronna |

It is warming up. We are going to get to 60 today!! It is, however still below freezing at night. Ten Sleep is so beautiful. I would love to visit there more often. Do you have family there?

Hi, there, Sherone! It sure is a small world, isn't it? My husband used to work at the Bear River ranger station - I've been up around there and Evanston so many times - a beautiful, beautiful area. Welcome to the group, and glad to have you!!!!!!!
XOXO, Libbie

Okay, to make this even weirder......My mom worked at the Fish Lake Forest office for years. She retired a few years back. I'll bet my mom and your DH know each other. :o}
Got a question.....I want to come down there and plant a Mother's Day garden for my Mom. Is Mother's Day weekend too early to plant annuals in that area? Let me know.
