                      | If the Gnomes aren’t delivering surprises at my door ( btw, another surprise was at my door today)… then they are multiplying in my house or following me home… Lololol!
Look what I found at the Dollar Tree Store… mini shamrock gnomes… so now my Gnome couple have gnome children!

                      | Linda,,, lol! do you recognize the table topper???
Did you by chance see a 'Wine Shop' in "HoChimin" (sp) City while in V.N.?
There is a wine shop that caters to Viet Nam wine lovers, and the wines are predominantly from Washington State...

                      | Grace, I went to the Dollar Tree store in my area and got the girl one with the orange braids, mine has a sparkly hat but no clover on it, there were only a few left. There was only one male and he kept falling over I could not get him to stand up, so I did not buy him :( They did not have much St. Patricks day stuff they were already putting all the Easter stuff out. I was bummed out but at least I have the girl Gnome sitting on my kitchen table, looking cute. Thanks for letting us know where you got yours.

                      | These gnomes sure are adorable and fun that they are outfitted for every occasion!! My Mom loved them too but they were not as prevalent in stores as they are today. She would have loved having them set up in her apt. where she could see them all the time. Enjoy your growing collections, Grace!!

                      | In Germany and in NW Europe,, Gnomes are and have been very popular for many decades... In Germany we call them Zwerg... They are most often found in gardens along with the colored glass orbs/balls...
For me it is tradition to have both in my garden,, which has led them into .... sneaking into the house! lol!
That being said,, Hedgehogs 'Igels as we call them' are so endearing to Western Europeans,, in Germany we even build little huts for them to
hibernate during the winter... They are garden helpers, not pests.. Thus my small collection of Hedgehogs...

                      | Grace, I was born in Frankfurt Germany. You are so spot on both accounts, LOL they make me think of my grandparents when I see either of them. My sister who lives in CA sent me a wooden hedgehog it was carved at one of those chain saw carving places but this one is really small and it sits in my house he is too cute. I also have one made out of cement but I bring him inside when the snow starts falling here because it will crack and split because it gets too cold. I should make a little hut for it out a basket for his indoor hibernation!

                      | Grace, a big part of my love of gnomes and gardening came from my German great grandmother. I’ve named most of my gnomes after family both German and Scottish, including one I hand painted to look like my dad who passed away. I like to think they’re looking over the garden. Although I keep finding my one gnome Duncan face down no matter where I put him. I think he has a drinking problem! |

                      | I see you have the St. Pats gnomes on the Tablerunner I made you. LOL! I am going to use mine, too!
I have all 4 Easter and all 4 St. Pats gnomes from Dollar Tree. I had to go to 2 different Dollar Tree stores to find the St. Pats ones. They are so cute and only $1.25 each! I don't have any of the Aldi ones.

                      | Grace a sister that lives in CA too, to funny. My one outdoor Gnome goes on vacation during the winter he goes to a warmer place called Inside land a nice little B&B. I will find a buddy for him this springtime when he checks out, likely when the snow is gone for the season.
