This book was mentioned in an article about Aprons in this months issue of "The Saturday Evening Post" I found this copy , great condition on eBay for $8.00 free shipping.
It has wonderful stories, pictures and patterns. Just wanted to share.

Great find Connie, I have a similar Apron book and I love mine too! Great stories and aren’t all the pictures of the vintage Aprons awesome?

Thanks Y'all I'll have to look for the other Apron books on .ebay, They have quite a few used book sellers that sell for great prices in good condition with free shipping.
Great article in The Saturday Evening Post. I hadn't seen an article in a long time about Aprons in a magazine other than Country Living.

I was inspired to peruse my copy of "The Apron Book" which I enjoyed doing. As many of you know I made and sold a LOT of aprons . . . hundreds in fact. I still make a couple a month for a friend.
While going through the book I came to the picture of little bottle aprons. I made several of those for a friend years ago. While they are cute as can be they are also tedious to make.

CJ, I remember seeing some of your beautiful Aprons! And the 100's of scraps you use to recycle by shipping as much as a priority box would hold! I was always too slow to get One!

I love my Apron book. Such pretty vintage ones in there.
Linda I also have that book. I so enjoy looking through them both.

I got that book years ago when I was in a book club. Love it. Butt----I can do without the pic of the lady in just her apron serving a pie---page 117---LOL!! Just doesn't look appetizing.

I have quite an apron collection started (it will never be finished LOL!) but I don't have any apron books. Those books look wonderful! I'll have to keep my eye out for an apron book or 2.

Holler Girl 56 - wish I had the book to see it. our mentioning it reminds me of the movie Calendar Girls. If you haven't seen it, you should. It is a good movie.
