We love fresh lemonade around here, too! Tara, your place sounds really great. You are getting so much done! We are working on on little yard. We have a small garden that we are planning to expand using raised beds around the yard. We have six trees; lemon, apple, apricot, peach, plum, and a small avocado that my Granddaughters grew from a seed. Our neighbor has an avocado tree and gave us some of his crop. The girls wanted to put the seed in water to see if it would grow. They are surprised that it is now four feet tall. Enjoy your little farm!

Storm yesterday caused a lot of damage in garden. Straight line winds, trees were bending way over. Scary! All the squash plants destroyed by hail. I'll plant more butternut squash seed tomorrow, try again. Corn, tomato, beans, snap peas and pepper plants beat up.
Most of the onion tops were broken. I picked those and put in dehydrator.
Will the onions survive? Too much rain past 3 days, wondering if they rot?

Today's good mood brought to you by a lot of coffee!!!

I’m so sorry, Tara. It has to be frustrating to put the work in and then have to start over. All of my farm sisters with questionable weather have been in my prayers. Hugs to you.

Karen :)

To quote one of my past preschoolers “Not one of those Karens, but a good Karen”! Haha
