I just wanted to share our happy news with everyone. Heather's been home schooling for the past 2 1/2 years and for the past year she's been attending community college on-line. You can attend college here even if you are still in high school. This past week she completed and passed the state test to get her GED. We are so thrilled. She just turned 17 in January, and now she's getting ready for the Agriculture/horticulture program at OSU.
You know when you home school, you always feel like you are doing the best for you children, but when it comes to the state testing, I was always worried. This is such a relief!

Congratulations! And good for her for the ag/hort program.
Our kids can attend one college class and take another online during their senior year. I think it's a great way to introduce kids to college level expectations.

Tammy-
Congrats to both you and Heather! It is a great achievement! I hear the Agriculture/horticulture program at OSU is really great. I know their animal reproduction program is really excellent as well!
