I swear my dog is broken! How she can comfortably sleep on her back while twisting in 2 separate ways is beyond me! Lol. Does anyone else's dog lay like this? Or is mine just weird?

Krista, she's perfectly fine. My Annie is six years old, and still sleeps on her back all twisted around.

Is she a great dane? They are known to do this.

Your dog has been taking yoga lessons. That position is an adaptation of a well-known asana. :-)

I'm glad to read that she's ok because my first reaction when I saw that picture was "HOLY CRAP!" LOL!

BwaHahaha, Judith!

Krista my dog does this too!! I suppose dogs with longer backs stretch them this way?? I can tell you, I've done this several times on the floor after mowing all day and it feels pretty good!! ;) he sure is a big boy, handsome too!

That is the wierdest position I have ever seen a dog sleep in. It gave me a good laugh.

Sara and Dianna, aren't they so funny when they sleep this way? She will even lay flat on her stomach with her back legs straight out. She looks so silly that way lol.

Denise, yes she is a great dane. My previous great dane was the opposite. She loved to be curled up into a ball. It's funny how different they can be.

Judith, I'll have to take some yoga lessons from her.

I'm glad I was able to give everyone a laugh! She's just so silly I had to share.

Our little Boston used to lay stretched out like that. She would grab her blanket and want us to pull her around while she laid that way hanging onto to it with her teeth. Crazy dog was she.

Karen, I have never heard it called that before. Thanks for teaching me something new!

Judith, that’s funny that even cats lay that way.

Denise, that’s so funny! I would love to see that! Dogs are so crazy and funny!

Krista, I have a little long haired Chiweenie ( 1/2 dachsund and 1/2 chihuaha, so he's got a longer back as well), he sleeps twisted just like that and also lays flat on his belly like yours does, little chipmunk feet staight out and back! Too cute! Gotta love our fur babies!!

I love the nickname Grace! I’ll have to start calling her froggy.

April, I love little dog feet. Especially when they are all furry. It must really help to sleep like this when they have long bodies.
