Hello, My name is Tina Kay. We live on a 1/2 acre in the high desert of So. Calf. So you can imagine the difficulties of making things grow here. I love to garden, sew, scrapbook, read, yada, yada, etc. Since I homeschool I haven't been able to be on the computer as much as I would like, but the year is coming to an end and I have more time on my hands. I have been wanting to join this forum for a year and finally decided to do it. And am excited about getting to know you ladies! And hope to develope some nice friendships.

Tina - Hi! Read part of your blog and it was so sweet to see how your daughter loves her grandad. It warms my heart to read the stories of all of us, across the nation and the world, who love and care for one another, and work so hard to make the world a happier place.
You will love being here on MJF!

Welcome Tina! My husband's family lives in Diamond Bar & Laguna Hills, CA. I envy their having their own lemon and apricot trees. If you live by them, then I can certainly understand your difficulty with gardening. This is a great place to be. Lots of help with any questions you may have.
